  1. 3D metal printing wow that's so cool
  2. added the alloy rear roll bar links today defo a good upgrade, the plastic ones wouldn't grip as the screw stripped strait away in it so much less body roll now (I have carnage front anti roll bar fitted too)
  3. just a note for all you upgrade nuts Fastrax M4 flanged nylock nuts, the thread on the drive shafts are not long enough to reach the nylon in the lock nut (so not suitable) Tried a set of the Fastrax hard springs (reds) they don't fit , diameter is to small (not suitable)
  4. New wheels from an ftx spider, very soft so filled them with memory foam
  5. I mounted mine on the roof but its a bit vulnerable there, there a bit to easy to roll. I'm going to take out the driver n mount an aluminium plate there to mount my cam (before I break it lol) Driving fpv is a blast
  6. made this today. 2.5mm aluminium chassis , should I cancel the one I have on order ?
  7. @johninderby That is looking very nice. need to get some wheels for mine.
  8. I broke my prop the day I fitted my brushless motor too steel prop fitted now but I do have 2 1/2 spare plastic props now, the steel prop was on back-order so I ordered two plastic props and put the steel one on order. the plastic props came the following Monday followed two days latter by the steel prop !!!!!
  9. Some up grades to the outlaw Still waiting for the main chassis plate, its on backorder at mo Trailing arm holders, link holders on the axle, rear frames, battery box supports, steel prop shaft, motor mount (17T) and Radient Reaktor 3500kv brushless motor and waterproof esc. This thing fly's on a 5000mah 2s Carbon shock tower, Carnage front anti roll bar, steering knuckles, uprights, hinge pin holders and wheel adaptors on the front. Lot less body roll now.
  10. +1 for the Hobbywing Quicrun 1060 esc got one in my NeXXt 3s and waterproof (for brushed motor) I went brushless in mine . Cost me 55quid for a motor/ESC combo (3s and waterproof) Supper quick now n wheelys like a mad thing http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RADIENT-Reaktor-ESC-and-Motor-Combo-Set-3500kv-Sensorless-540-Size-1-10th-Scale-/262720335180?_trksid=p2141725.m3641.l6368 this is what I put in mine
  11. Anyone out there in Rc land come across alloy shock towers for the Vantage or Carnage ?
  12. I'm curious, why would you go for that esc? Its not water proof I think the load rating is somewhat hope-full, bearing in mind the gauge of wire used (14 awg) I would think maybe 35A 320A mite be a peak for a few seconds Better to spend a couple of quid more on a branded waterproof esc if you ask me
  13. No its still as it came in the box. seems to soak up the bumps pretty well as is
  14. thanks @hamradioguy Only prob with fpv (that I have found with my quads) is its very hard to go back to line of site after, its like being a nube again lol and not as much fun fpv is a rush Gota say this Outlaw is fast becoming my favorite toy, It handles the ruff stuff n jumps so well and as you can see there big jumps
  15. You should try it with fpv goggles on. its completely emersive to the point that if your not sat down or leaning against something you will most likely fall over
