  1. Whats the measurements or best replacement for the loccking wheel nuts on the Outlaw? I don't have any spares that may fit.
  2. Did anyone have any issues syncing the trasmitter to the car? I turn the car on holding the sync button down which makes the green light flash. I turn the trasmitter on holding the sync button, the green light flashes twice then stays on but still it doesn't sync to the car. Any suggestions?
  3. As my front wheel rolls back down the slope towards me and as I figure out which wheelnut I need to replace this seems as good a time as any to ask what sort of wheel setup have you guys used that looks the meanest and how easy are they to fit? I also thought I'd caused serious damage to something after it took a major hit but luckily I'd 'only' managed to get the rear suspension jammed up in the frame of the shell!
  4. Will create a thread once the postie drops off my new toy
  5. As per the prize draw this month I'm now one of you cool kids. Quiet afternoon in work so ive read the thread, are there any other buggy owners in here? Seems to have started with lots of rally versions then truggys and MTs Will post some pics when the postie delivers my new toy!
  6. Lets say I'm more of reader than a poster! I bought my first RC in January so I'm getting there! This is my second mini RC so it's all good.
  7. Cheers guys that's brightened up my Monday morning! @johninderby I feel you may be correct on this prediction...
  8. Sounds like it might be worth investing in and having a tinker
  9. Talking as an absolute novice here but what does the tuner card allow you to do?
  10. Cheers fella, next upgrade sorted then for pay day
  11. I've got the Brushless Outlaw and wanted to try out a 3S Lipo. Is it best to replace the ESC with something like the one above before I test it with anything more powerful than 2S?
  12. Part arrived yesterday and fitted today ready for bashing tomorrow. Chris, sounds like the same issue as me
  13. Cheers fella, I'll get it ordered and back to bashing.
  14. After careful consideration I've bought my first RC car and gone for the B/L Outlaw and I'm blown away by how much fun it is! I've taken it bashing on a few local playing fields which led me to going back to the model shop yesterday to get a second battery for longer runs. I've heard the Outlaw can take a 3s but to be honest I was happy with the speed from 2s so I purchased a 50c 4500mah to go with the battery that came with the car. The battery is 1cm too long for the battery tray but the Velcro straps hold it in place so that's fine. Now the new battery was spot on until I seemed to lose 75% of power. On further inspection I've lost the (sharply named) rear central CVD shaft rear central. I've found the spare part in plastic, is it likely that I can upgrade the part to a stronger material or is this something I just have to be careful with when using the new battery? (if so I'll order a few spare parts)
