Carnage with FPV today was really good fun. This was actually a trial to test the setup before putting it on my plane but it is so much fun I will definitely be doing this again!

That looks fast. I ended up getting the FT011 for £80 and its so much fun. Only 4S - i doubt very much it will be capable of 6S without an ESC upgrade. The FT011 is really fast but i would like it to go faster Ringo

Thanks for the headsup. In that case, if i can't re-use the receivers then i don't need to commit to a spektrum brand. I'll have a look for a cheap multi model transmitter... Thanks, Ringo

Hi all, I am thinking of getting a DX3s as i am fed up with having loads of controllers for my cars and boats. Currently, for my boat projects, i am using my T-Six orange receive transmitter. However, my kids can't get on with it so i would like to change to a trigger system. I currently have a few spare spektrum 6 channel receivers (DSM2) from my planes - can these be bound with a DX3s? Clearly i would only have 3 channels... Anyone tried it? Thanks in advance, Ringo

Yes - very happy with MS for sorting it out thats for sure. I was getting a bit frustrated so asked for my money back lol! Ringo

Still no steering linkages in stock even though CML said 3rd March. I got a bit fed up so emailed MS. They in turn got in touch with CML who took off a steering linkage from a new model and sent me it. So now i'm back in action!

Those carbon shock towers look wrong to me. No wonder you are struggling.

What a shame. I know this isn't helpful but maybe now is the time to fit another ESC ?

I've been waiting for steering linkages to be delivered since the end of January. Now CML are stating they won't be available until the 3rd of March! This is no fun.... Ringo

My steering linkage snapped last weekend and my highly anticipated delivery turned up today with all the parts I bulked up on except the steering linkage February 17th isn't that far away now I guess ... Ringo

This RC world is a dangerous thing. I've bought 2 cars and 3 boats in the last 3 months and i have started flying again so obvs i need a new plane... Ringo

Just don't forget to tape up the carnage body or else it starts to fall apart when you roll. Sway bars helped me a lot. I've also upgraded to carbon shock towers and aluminium body posts as i was fed up with those snapping all the time. A particular low point for me was when i broke the chassis... I haven't really took it out since and i've yet to swap over to the new chassis...
