  1. Evening all. Tonight I decided to put 5.5t hobbywing combo in my 4wd buggy. I've just tried it out (in the dining room) and the motor is getting pretty warm just from a slow drive for a couple of minutes. What do I need to do? Something can't be right cos the usual stock motor I had in there ran slightly warm after a thrashing outside. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk
  2. Thanks mate. My son loves it. Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk
  3. Do you have a better picture mate? Where are you located? Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk
  4. I'm thinking more along the lines as a shelf queen. I really like these cars because they can take one hell of a bashing so having more than one is my plan. Finding where the parts originally came from is proving difficult though. I've also heard that HSP have these parts on their cars? Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk
  5. Evening all. I'm looking to upgrade some parts on my assault. I've seen some other manufacturers with what looks like the same car with their own branding on it (Redcat being one). Does anybody know any other manufacturers that will use the same parts as BSD where I can get them cheaper? I want to go all aluminium so looking to cut the costs a bit. Thanks Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk
  6. Looks awesome!!! Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk
  7. Just a quick one really. What Shells will fit straight on to an e savage? I keep finding plenty of the other savage shells available but I'm worried they will be different. I'd like to find a cheap one painted for bashing as well as a clear one to spray for my shelf. t.i.a Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk
  8. Hi mate, I've sorted some out now but will definitely have a word if you still have them in the future. [emoji6] Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk
  9. BSD Flux Assault I can vouch for this. I Give my Assault an absolute thrashing and it still goes strong. It gets jumped and allsorts while out and about and parts are easy to come by. I love it that much I have sold my other cars to get 2 more from this manufacturer. They are strong cars with a good amount of poke. They also have upgrades available for the chassis. You can pick them up or the "Prime" version for around your budget. The Prime is identical apart from the colour and brushed Motor.
  10. Good to know. Thanks mate. I can try them next time now if I do it again.
  11. They look just the ticket buddy. Let me know what happens with them.
  12. price drop to £65 or swaps for a buggy or monster. Preferably a BSD racing Prime onslaught, Baja V2, Storm, Desert or similar. Buyer pays postage unless its a swap deal.
  13. I'm also interested in this thread and looking for some help with mine. I love it but have 2 major problems with it and both are to do with the torque. I keep twisting drive shafts and Rounding off the hex wheel centres. I've swapped the shafts to T-Maxx ones that have so far, lasted longer. I also have to put the dual rate down to 46% just to save the wheels. It's now back in the man cave awaiting new wheels anyway. When it runs, it's great fun though. 14. 14mm according to another thread mate.
  15. Where abouts are you located buddy? The traxxas is taking my fancy. Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk
  16. SORTED NOW. THANKS! Hi, I'm looking for so monster truck wheels for my E savage that are more durable than the standards. I keep rounding off the insides of the hex fittings on them. Thanks Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk
  17. HI all, I'm looking at swapping (possibly selling) my Maverick strada TC Brushless. This is a great little car and just needs radio gear to go. The radio gear I had in there was useless so ended up using my own hence why the old is missing from it. It's 5 months old and only has cosmetic damage to the shell (see passenger side picture) The rest of the shell is fairly tidy. This version has the Titanium shocks I believe, adjustable steering with the fan assisted ESC. The car has been used a handful of times. I'm looking for an off roader / Monster truck as I have a lot more fun with them due to where I live. I will consider offers and can post once i've worked out the price. Thanks p.s The white tape on the battery leads is just due to running out of shrink wrap when i had to change the plug to deans. Not sure what it's worth really? Paid £145 so will sell for £70? Does that sound about right? Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk
  18. I love mine but cant stop twisting the rear drive shafts. I've now stuck some T-Maxx shafts in. Fingers crossed they do the job. Mine just has way too much torque and has now rounded off the HEX on the wheels. I will get it running eventually but parts are expensive.
  19. Hi all, I've just come across the forum and thought i'd join in on the discussions while learning the ins and outs of RC's. I currently have a few (Not high end) and i'm really getting into it all with my son. I currently have a few cars and 3 boats. Thanks
