  1. Hiya. Just looking at a buggy for sale but just wanted to know if anyone knows the model? The seller doesn't know as they are just clearing it out of their garage. I Know those back wheels aren't standard but that's about it? Thanks in advance Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  2. It looks like its just left hell. I'm going to keep all mine locked up safe just incase you are local and taking it for a run. Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk
  3. Evening all. My kyosho axxe has lost its teeth on the spur gear. Does anybody know if there is a metal 91t available out there for them? Because it's got a hex shape center it has given me limited options for any spur in general. Is it easier to change the shaft that the spur fits on or do I just have to accept keeping it as plastic? 4. How much for the rolling chassis mate? Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk

  6. I recently purchased an axxe and I love it. 1st thing I did was convert it to brushless with new shocks. Only problem I have now is waiting for a new spur as mine is shredded. It's great for a cheap little car. Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk
  7. Evening all. My brother in law has bought a tidy Hornet but we've put a business setup into it. We haven't overpowered it or anything silly but because the front wheels are so slim they are shredding pretty quick. Could anyone recommend some wheels with a bit more width and slightly larger that would go straight onto it? He wants to change the rears too. TIA Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk
  8. I'm not saying that at all but the engine isn't standard. Granted the rest of the car is but the lady I bought it from found it in her garage and wanted rid. It was her ex husbands. I do think £350 is steep too but that was including the glow starter kit. I'm well happy with it for that price. I've just fitted the new pull start that came with it and now just waiting for a new filter then will see how it goes. It might be a pain in the arse for parts cos of the brand but it is built like a tank. I'm hoping it will last cos this is my 1st nitro and I'm more into electric. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk
  9. Just looked up the engine and they sell for anything between £65 used and £110 new. So I'm more than happy with £15. I'm not sure where you get the chance to get a £15 rc car these days either other than once in a blue moon. The way I see it anyway, I bought a £350 setup (receipts she supplied) thats hardly used for £15. Can't go wrong. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk
  10. Are you serious? I'd be lucky to by the radio gear alone for that. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk
  11. £15 on a Facebook for sale site. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk
  12. Hi all, Picked this NT buggy up today and was just wondering what it would be worth these days? Any idea? It is a 1/8 flying point Probe 2000. It's had a different exhaust put on it and I think the engine may be different too? The lady I bought it from told me it was hardly used hence why they sold it. It was kept in storage for over 10yrs so needs a new pull start, tyres and air filter. Other than that it's like new. Sorry for the picture quality. My phone died yesterday so using an old thing until mines repaired. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk
  13. Currently a Maverick strada 1/10 truggy but I'm looking at stocking up on a few sizes just to cover me for my other cars. Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk
  14. Hi all Where can I get the screws and sleeves that fit into the bottom of the steering knuckle? I've lost a couple and can't find any replacements without having to buy the whole knuckle with it? Thanks in advance. Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk
  15. OK, thanks for the help mate. I'll try this on my rolling chassis. That's going to be my test car now. Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk
  16. OK, maybe not quite bulletproof but all I've needed so far is a spur gear due to a stone getting wedged and rounding off some of the teeth. [emoji1] Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk
  17. Thinking about it, it's best asking you guys really as I'm obviously no professional. I want to get this thing a bit quicker. What sort of motor combo would you go for with a buggy? And what gears? Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk
  18. Yeah, unfortunate too because these flux assaults are bulletproof. It's that good I bought another rolling chassis. Just wish I had more knowledge on compatible parts and setting up the esc to reverse again. Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk
  19. It's got the same setup back in there now as it was standard. Still can't get reverse properly and it does seem to cog a bit at slower speeds. The setup is a stock bsd 3259kv brushless motor combo. If I could find who manufactures the bsd's it would be easier so I could buy more parts and upgrades but It's a nightmare. The parts on century are very expensive.
  20. I believe so yes. Although it's still a bit strange at times getting it to go forwards/backwards. It takes sometimes 3/4 attempts on the trigger to get it to move. Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk
  21. Just sorted it now mate. Pit the stock gears back on and it's perfectly fine. Just had to slow it down a bit though on the program card as I knew it would be fast. The only problem now is that it's faster in reverse. Can you change that on the ezrun escs or do I have to resolder wires over on the motor? Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk
  22. It's a bsd flux assault. I was told it should be fine in it. Basically I needed a new spur gear so was sent this set with the guy saying it would be alright in there. Will it be alright with the old gears back in there do you think? Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk
  23. Oh, and a 24t pinion before it had a 15t pinion on the standard brushless with a 39t spur
  24. Yeah I did mate. I put a tamiya 55t spur gear set in to it. Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk
