  1. I had a Losi 2.0 and 3.0 truggy as well as the 4.0 buggy and with the obviously exceptions such as the suspension arms etc on the buggy being shorter pretty much all the parts were interchangable between the 3. My 3.0 truggy had the front and rear uprights from the 4.0 buggy as well the complete front and rear diffs and a couple of small bits from the 2.0 truggy version.
  2. No it wont. I have had 2 Hobbywing ESCs and they both had different programming cards. One was the LCD screen and the other was the LED digits one. I tried the LCD one the ESC that came with the LED style one thinking it might enable some other functions but it just skipped the numbers that weren't relelvant to that ESC so the card went 1,2,3,6,8,10 for example rather than 1-14 it did with the other one. Connected it to a PC and the other options were greyed out so couldn't change them that way either.
  3. If it is a ESC that doesnt like odd cell counts you need to turn in the LVC I believe. It is only the newest Hobbywing MAX series that dont do odd cells though. Had a quick look and it would appear the ESC is one of the older WP series ones so should be fine as it is on 5S.
  4. I would still buy face to face if you have the chance personally. Whilst Paypal is instant waving cash in someones nose always tends to get a better deal,at least that is what I have found. Chap I bought my 5ive off wanted cash,I paid a deposit of £100 by PP but he was adament he wanted the rest in cash for whatever reason. Much better to go and see what you are intending to buy rather than buying blind online, even if you do pay with PP it still might not be straight forward if something does go wrong during the sale.
  5. Best advice is to just keep looking. There are quite a few Facebook groups given over to RC sales although as suggested be cautious, don't get carried away into a rush purchase. Personally I would also suggest going to collect it yourself rather than having it delivered, there is an issue of trust to consider with most sales unfortunately. I got my 5ive from someone about 15 miles away from me in the end after looking everywhere for quite a while. He wanted £800 on ebay,I offered £600 cash outside of ebay to save on fees etc and he eventually went for it when he realised he wasnt going to get £800 with about 6 hours left on his sale.
  6. I found some navel fluff I never knew I had,result!
  7. He is obviously hoping for offers for a sale outside of ebay if you read the description, hence the BIN price no one would pay
  8. One last question Did you get stung for customs charges after ordering from DDM? Thanks.
  9. Yeah although it is about £100 over priced compared to what is was when it first came out as it is the "older" version that still needs a transmitter. Like I said I wonder where they came from though as I thought all the older versions were sold through ages ago, maybe someone found a warehouse that had been forgotten about
  10. Seeing as there is a lack of 5ives around at the moment it makes you wonder where they got these? Okay it is the older version but even so seems odd they have them. I admit they don't appear to have them in any shops but it indicates they are available for home delivery. http://www.maplin.co.uk/p/team-losi-5ive-t-15-off-road-racing-truck-a77tg
  11. I din't know there was a silenced version of the G320 pipe until now Thanks.
  12. Couple of questions if I can please What air filter set up are you now using? I see you had the TR airbox thing a while ago but didn't you sell it? Now I have the G320 in the air filter is very close to the rollcage and the body is a bit more difficult to get on and off as it is now wider than the stock engine/air filter set up. Also is your exhaust the specific G320 Bartolone, like this one http://www.freeprawnracing.co.uk/bartolone-32cc-tuned-pipe-for-losi-5ive-w-zehoah-g320-black.html as there don't seem to be any around anywhere although I don't mind buying the regular version either but I think I would have to get the silenced version if I cant find the G320 specific one.
  13. Obviously no need for you at all
  14. Anything that you can use PP for that is over 150 euros.
  15. Indeed, but had an email so thought I would give it a go. Like I said don't intend to make it a regular thing, can pay it off next pay day, just impatient to finish the Losi. At least not everywhere takes PP so it does limit your options a bit compared to a regular credit card.
  16. Anyone else signed up for this? Resisted for a while but then thought it would enable me to get the exhaust for the Losi sooner rather than later so will give it a go. I got £2000 credit from the outset, you have to spend more than 150 euros to be able to use it and from what I can make out it then gives you 4 months interest free to pay it off. If you go past that point you loose the interest free option, you can just pay the minimum each month if you want to take forever to pay it off with interest. I will pay off the exhaust straight away when I get paid next month so not really an issue,I am just impatient to get the Losi running No encouraging people into debt just asking if anyone else is using it or not?
  17. Couple of bits in the last few days The AJ approved washer with M6 bolt to mount the clutch housing to the centre brace and the Fullforce fuel fiitings for the tank. Lines look nice and neat now
  18. Good grief. Talk about grovelling

    Baja 5b

Also I doubt the Baja comes with a Zenoah branded 23cc 4 bolt engine as standard although I could be wrong? Might be worth checking exactly what engine you have even though the bottom end on a lot of them is the same.

I have a crankcase that was off a 26cc CY engine in a Losi 5ive. It should work with the 23cc Fuelie though as the bottom end is the same I believe. It is just the crankcase though,no seals, bearings or gaskets though as I removed them to rebuild the engine but bought a different engine instead. I also have a flywheel, one of the "vanes" has broke off but it is otherwise solid. The fan cover I have is a Zenoah one,it will fit on a Fuelie engine but the bolt holes on the bottom are slightly different between Zenoah/CY (Fuelie) engines however in the Baja I dont think it would be a problem as the mounting holes are slotted I believe. I am at work now till late so will be difficult to keep replying

By casing do you mean the engine casing itself? This part? http://www.freeprawnracing.co.uk/2-bolt-cy-rc-crankcase-w-bearings-dd444.html
  22. I think the DH would be better if it were plainer looking,it's to in your face, more so with the choice of colour used.
  23. The jump one made me wince a bit, sounds like something slapped the floor a bit hard when it landed
  24. ???? Pull it off,how would that work Maybe I could peel it off
  25. I have to say I like both the DH and KV but the alloy on the DH looks cheap,it might not be but it looks it. Equally it just looks to flashy, like it is trying to make up for something by being very bling I would have to choose the KV out of the two but that is beyond me price wise. If the DH was a bit less bling I would consider it but not as it stands now.
