Rather get a £28 black can. Although I didn't really want to get it from China as takes long for delivery. Might be interested in that ESC though, as that's pretty cheap for a 150 6s one... Hmm food for thought

You'd probably get away with a 120amp on 4S. Although I'd highly reccomend moving up to a 150amp. Have a look at HobbyWing's line up of products. Tried and tested my 1000s and resonably priced too

Yeah the standard ST shells are all cut out. Although not that much is actually gone. I'd happily run it with a BL setup. Although can't argue that it looks better with no hole in it. You'll be in for a fair old wait if it's from Taiwan I think. Just incase you didn't know, if you get the front pro tower I believe you'll have to buy the pro bulkhead brace too as the plastic one is all combined? Correct me if I'm wrong just going by pictures

What's the going rate for the Leopard 4082 motors? Looking for something to put in the ST Matt

To people that have converted their Hyper ST's to brushless power. How have you gone about having a Rx box? Ideally want it to be as low down as possible and neat. Matt

I usually do 100K in the middle, 20K in the front and 40K/60K in the rear. All personal choice really. Best off getting a combination of oils and tuing to suit Good luck with it!

If it was a perfect world then I would love to leave it nitro for sure. I've been moaned at too many times over the years now for running them around here because of the noise, smell etc etc. So it's gotta go unfortunatly. Plus electric is better from a logical point of view

I wouldn't grease where the shafts meet the out drives as they will just collect dirt and it will wear it out quicker. Sounds like it's for the pinnions for the diffs as that's the only place I could think of grease going to be honest

Does it say what the tub of grease is? I have re oiled the diffs, put some moly grease where the pinion meets the out side of the diffs and also cleaned and re oiled most of the bearings.

Finally got around to stripping it down to every single bit, cleaning and greasing etc New stainless nuts all round and planning on getting a stainless screw kit at some point too. Decided against keeping it nitro. Too much hassle with places to take it around here. Chucked an old motor mount on for now to see how it looks and i'm already happier lol

Yeah was trying to avoid this as I don't want to be wating up to May time haha. Might be worth trying to source another complete diff on here or fleebay. Or just put a normal one in until I get the screws
