Roughly how short can you go with the antenna wire on a Spektrum SR310? Mine's still looking like an old AM set XD

My antenna tube sticks out about a good 7in from the car so I was wondering if I could cut it down to hide it away basically

roll it up and just have the end in a short tube. unlike 40/27/35/75 MHZ that used all the wire 2.4ghz only uses the unshielded part.
Ahh right, my bad. I thought it did have to be. When ever I've cut them down before the range went to like 20 metres tops haha. I'll just pull some back into the Rx box and cut the tube down like you say
