  1. I do love the color scheme of the new 5ive, one of the best looking RTR's around imo....... wasn't keen on the old black and white look.
  2. Should be attached, the tire diameter is set to the stock tires which are 180mm tall, if you run 190mm tires it'll add 2mph to the top speed. The value for 190mm tall tires for the spread sheet needs to be changed to 7.48 inches. Have fun with it Speed calculator.xlsx
  3. Pure bottom end grunt with that pipe!! I have a spread sheet that calculates speed in MPH based on pinion, spur, RPM and tire size that I could send you That way you could play around with the pinion and spur sizes and see where that'll get you too?
  4. Just a quick bit of info AJ. I run an ESP G320 on my X2 along with a GPM 22t pinion and I also run a TTO and GPS system. Now my X2 on the 22t pinion tops out at 40-42mph with an RPM of around 16,500-16,800rpm. The G320 still has plenty of bottom end and I have been looking at a 23t myself but I also think to myself that 40-42mph is plenty fast enough for a truck that weighs the best part of 19Kg! I think that unless you want 45mph+ a 22t pinion will be fine for you, also exhaust plays a big part when it comes to top end RPM on these engines, I've tried quite a few on my G320 and know how they each perform in terms of top end RPM as I could monitor it with my TTO. I'm still waiting to test out my new BZM Micro pipe but I'm hoping it'll get me to that 45mph mark while keeping the current 22t pinion.
  5. I've ordered a wrap for the 30 degree's shell from Uber RC....... Mark now does wraps now and the print quality is out of this world!! Check out this wrap he did!! You should get one!
  6. If you find those tarmac busters don't last very long I would look at the tarmac tires that FID racing do.
  7. If it's said person who is said owner of a certain RC site then I've had serious issues with him and his attitude and had runnings in with him on Facebook. I hope you pair get what you want as I know you guys have waited a long time for it!
  8. So it's 10mm longer, 5mm wider and 6mm taller then stock.
  9. Area RC actually make a decent one at a fair price if you're a bit more budget constrained. Vented is definitely a good idea though!
  10. Looking at the current draw on the Spektrum website for the S9020 is does seem to be more thirsty then other servo's.
  11. I did say it requires an external battery, and it'll work fine on a 2 channel with a 'Y' lead. Said 'Y' lead can be bought from Hobby King at the same time you buy the logger for less then £1.
  12. They've knocked £11 off it so it's a no brainier for £16.55!! http://www.hobbyking.co.uk/hobbyking/store/__36111__Quanum_GPS_Logger_V2_with_Backlit_LCD_Display_NEO_6_U_Blox.html If you watch the comparison videos on Youtube it's within ~1kmph of the more expensive Garmin units everyone uses but at a fraction of the cost so it's very accurate. Only downside is it requires an external battery and it reads in KMH and not MPH but still a very good buy as conversion to MPH is simple and easy.
  13. Nigh on £40 for those 2 parts!! You can get the brushless buggy for £80, then sell the RX and TX for £20+
  14. Cheeky offer of £70 via Paypal ( I'll pay fees ) shipped and I'll pay for it right now
  15. 9 months of heavy jumping every weekend has resulted in play and movement in my suspension arms and hub carriers so looking to shim the play out. Does anyone know if there's any specific kits available? I'm assuming the Losi 5ive kit ( If there is one ) should work. Failing that can anyone recommend a place to get them shims from?
  16. Hi David The Turnigy buggies are that cheap on Hobby King it might actually be a wiser thing to just buy the brushless version as it won't be that much more expensive then doing the conversion.
  17. Shipping time is much much faster then Aliexpress, in regards to taxes and stuff it's luck of the draw. I've never been stung with a customs fee but my friends have for the odd item..... But you can get stung on an Aliexpress order too.
  18. HSP actually designed the platform and then licensed the design out to different vendors across the world. They're popular in their respective regions which is why most people probably haven't even heard of the HSP and Himoto versions as they were released in Asia, I'm sure CEN licensed the design too. The Redcat Rampage is perhaps the most well known vendor as it's the sole distributor in the states so parts are plentiful over there, speaking of parts..... DDM have all the Redcat Rampage alloy parts in stock: http://www.davesmotors.com/Products/Redcat-Rampage-Stock-Parts/
  19. Cheapest I've found for stock plastic ones matey http://www.rchobbyspares.com/50055__Rc__Buggy_Rear_Upper_Suspension_Arm__-_2P_Genuine_Spare_Parts/p1591865_8369954.aspx
  20. Still been flawless for months matey.... not had a single breakage on the truck for 6+ months now
  21. Redcat Rampage HSP SHeleton Himoto Megap And there's others that use the same chassis...... If you look in aliexpress for the HSP you'll find all the alloy parts for it.
  22. S5 now sold, Just the tab now so any offers?
  23. sfs... Will swap for a brushless motor/ESC cobo
