  1. New HPI Tarmac Busters fitted today, along with DDM hard chrome springs. Cant wait to try this out.
  2. This looks amazing, checkout their facebook page, it is a proper functioning V8 with a proper V8 exhaust note. I've emailed them for a price. Hopefully it doesn't cost the same as 1:1 Charger
  3. Cheers Carpmart. Good to hear this sort of feedback as I wasn't really aware of any of it. To be honest, I basically threw money at it in a very short period of time and learnt some expensive lessons along the way. Definitely not all parts are equal, take for example the FID centre diff supports compared to the Modified RC in the picture below.
  4. My current Kyosho GT2 RS - Fun car, but the Nova Roma makes it a bit of a handful.
  5. Here is a picture of my old Kyosho 1/9 DRX - Arguably one of the most fun RC cars I have owned.
  6. I've got some access to some mico light bars that use 3w CREE LEDs (not the pissy little 1w on the market), problem is they require 12v, anyone have any ideas how to get this to function?
  7. Hey Tug, Not a shelfer, spent far too much to just stare at it on a shelf. Gets run for sure, although don't have any where near enough time as I would like. The wrench time has been as enjoyable for me, as the run time.
  8. Installed Team Chase Torque dampener and removed front shaft, with the view to setup for tarmac.
  9. Not too sure, I've never owned ALX or RCMax - I have seen some videos of the RCMax, definitely looks impressive although hard to judge from video. I may give one of these a try if I ever get bored of the OBR. But right now this engine is a lot of fun, plus I am experimenting with RWD, so the power is already in abundance.
  10. This week I upgraded all servos to Savox 0236mg and installed the Area RC dual servo kit.
  11. Factory brakes were totally insufficient, so MIP brakes was next on the list
  12. It is indeed, cracking engine! I am told the pipe and motor is adopted from mopeds.
