Thanks AJ - used to get my parts from Schumacher but they emailed me to say they weren't the UK disti anymore- guess DMS are, I'll take a look. Do you know whether any other shells fit - think the 1/14 scale stuff is a bit scarce.

Anyone know where I can get a clear bodyshell for the Monster Truck variant of LC Racing? Lad needs a new one and something we can do in lockdown. Or do any other shells fit that you know of?

Fixed the lads LC Monster Truck - ESC was flashing red everytime he switched it on, really couldn't figure it out. Finally, after trying lots of things, noticed the throttle trim had been turned right forward! Wound it back, all good 👌😁

So far cleaned and tidied garage, cut grass and tidied garden a bit, painted front and back doors, OH cleaned every room in the house, twice! Painting back door frame and side garage door today. Cars need a good detail but need to order some more gear.

Stripped it all down again, and rebuilt. All seems to be ok now. So not really sure what it was. Thanks anyway.

This is an issue on my lad's LC Racing SCT but guess it applies to any truck,car etc When off the ground, the steering works fine and has really good articulation in both directions, servo works fine and no issues BUT when it's physically on the ground the steering really struggles. It turns but no where near as much as in the above scenario. It's only really started doing this recently and after I stripped it down, cleaned and rebuilt it. Any thoughts on what could be causing?

Really like the look of this - contemplating upgrading to a 1/10 from from my LC Racing Buggy. It's this or the Senton 3S - mainly cos I love the look of the short course trucks.

What would we be talking about for the standard truck, if @53HRA wanted just the upgrades?? I presume it's RTR and just needs suitable batteries?

Loving this, looks really really good. I would have put orange beacons on front edge of cab though (but that's just my opinion)

Sorted the rear dogbone for the SCT - Schumacher Direct (racing-cars.com) advised that L6018 is no longer stocked as it's been replaced by L6043 CVD drive shaft. That's why I couldn't find L6018 anywhere! We found some 1/10 12mm hex wheels / tyres in the garage so had he wanted them on - raised the body mounts up slightly and put them on. He loves it. Looks OK to be honest but rear inner tyre rubs ever so slightly on the bodyshell so it's going to need a trim. I'll chuck a picture up when I get chance.

Any one recommend suppliers of LC Racing parts - looking for L6018 Dogbone(s). One is missing from my lads SCT and he is currently running 3 wheel drive!

Great little cars - we run 3x in our house! A buggy, a buggy converted to MT and a SCT version. All great, my kids swap between the MT and SCT. Actually I love the SCT as for some reason it has a bit of slide in the chassis and handles really well.
