Bought this at the end of November last year from Wheelspin, but have never used it. Wife is badgering me to get rid of it as it's taking up space. Couple of hop ups done, but never ever been out of the house/used. Comes with two new Volts batteries that were purchased new at the same time. Collection only from Bristol. £800

Bought a month or so ago from Modelsport, fitted new exhaust with carbon muffler and Killer Bee Super Bee kill switch. Has been turned over in back garden but not actually driven!! If you're after one of these you won't do better - it's basically new. I'm selling because I've simply not got time to use it and wife is fed up with it on dining room table! Just bought a 5ive t, and have fitted an exhaust (seems a bit crap) - not used in anger yet, so would appreciate some advice from those in know about whether the exhaust needs replacing when pennies allow, and if the carb is tuned correctly. I doubt it - flooded the engine, took farkin ages to get it started, and tweaked screws on carbon a bit until it idled!! General advice about what the next few things to fit would be good - apart from a kill switch, which I have but haven't fitted yet, not really sure. Anyone got any plans this weekend maybe?

Yeah gasket on. It's just really badly shaped and so no amount of fiddling or brute force would get the head to line up correctly. It was just over a hundred quid - main reason for getting it was because it was billed as quietening the thing down. Happy to spend more for something that fits properly and muffles the sound a bit but to be honest I couldn't find anything anywhere. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Just bought a 5ive, not used yet but turned over. Bought a fat boy tuned muffled exhaust from rcmodelz and wonder if it's compatible at all! Fitting was an absolute pig and after a few hours I've managed to get it on but the seal between the exhaust and the engine is terrible and exhaust is p*ssing out all over the place!! I resolved to try and persevere, and have applied some Sugru to the join to try and seal it all up. Will let it cure overnight and see how it goes tomorrow. If it's still leaking I think I'll need to take it all off and try another type of exhaust - not looking forward to having to get it off if I need to if it was anything like putting the damn thing on!

Now have a shiny new 5ive T!! Have set up the rc stuff and will probably give it a bit of juice in the back garden this afternoon to see how loud it is !!! One thing I didn't realize is quite how massive it is! Never seen one before so was a bit of a shock! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Cheers folks - the flux in the classifieds was a road one, lowered etc. Could teak it back for off-road probably, but prefer to start from new I'm not completely averse to the noise, but would just like to minimise it as much as possible - there must be an exhaust and silencer that someone makes to do this you'd think? I've got a field/wood near me in Bristol, but other than that not too sure of where one could be used without getting on people's wick!! Any other options to dip my toe into 1/5 scale?

Hi - can this be un-lowered and put back in shape for off-road use?

I'm thinking about getting one of these 1/5 cars, or something similar, and really the only option seems to be petrol as I can't find a Baja Flux anywhere (not sure if they are discontinued?). I'm concerned about noise - some is fine, but I'd want the car to be as quiet as possible and don't mind sacrificing performance for quietness! Does anyone have any experience of having added an exhaust, muffler, silencer etc. to either of these cars that can comment on the cost, ease and end result please?
