  1. Cheers for the offer bud Widnes Model centre are going to tweak it for me doing exactly as you mention. Only needs a tiny amount to sort. I've purposely fitted the F3.5 pro to what is essentially going to be my bashing buggy as I'm contemplating it for this seasons racing. For the money, it's definately worth a punt, so interested to see how it performs
  2. Cheers Lee Are the savox you listed waterproof?
  3. As title really, currently sourcing all the parts for my HB D812 Buggy race car and now looking into the electrics side of things. Looking for recommendations on the following: Transmitter Reciever Steering Servo Throttle Servo Will be the usual HPI hump pack to power it all. Many thanks in advance
  4. Going to have to do that fletch. Took for a slow run on the 4th tank and you could hear the mechanical noise from the bell. New engine running sweet though... http://s1286.photobucket.com/user/Ratcliffe83/media/Mobile%20Uploads/5F56D3A7-C9C4-49FC-9336-7AF3D18AC9C0_zpsauydc1nv.mp4.html
  5. UPDATE... Well, after a weeks of bashing, got round today to striping car down, quick clean and prep ready for the new F3.5 Pro & 17T bell. Strip down went well, no rounded screws or hex bolts. Couple of things I did notice, the F3.5 or taller than the F3.5 Pro. This is in the cooling head though. The carb sits a lot prouder on the F3.5 Pro and required the throttle linkage to be relocated to the top of the servo arm and it extended a touch. Other than that, everything was straight swap. One potential issue may be the 17T bell and it's mesh with the pinion wheel. It's tighter than I would like, but I can't space the engine out any further. I will keep an eye on this, and if needed, replace the pinion wheel for a slightly smaller one (more top end again). All ready to roll for tomorrow's running In.... Stripped ready for cleaning F3.5 Pro Fitted and Car Cleaned New Engine Heater Shell Fitted
  6. Not looked at that yet, but it's going to be a no expense spared build as I want to be as competitive as possible, and while having the best of what's available won't make me any better a driver, it will give me the best chance of doing as well as I can
  7. Would have the Trophy....can't imagine why though All of the options are as good as each other in reality, the losi kit is deffo a steal, but by the time you've bought everything need for it, your looking at an
  8. Starter box is best investment yet! No more broken pull starts or blisters!!!
  9. I like the look of the OS engines, namely the Speed III Unsure of which pipe would be a good match though Those suggestions both look good
