    Someone must want these...
  2. I've never understood the trend to pack things with grease... I've always been in the camp that you should only use a thin layering, enough to coat the gears lightly, my opinion anyway. And I tend to use marine grease for my gears. I've never had an issue running like this, and it makes cleaning easily.

I bashed it briefly once, but wanted it as a racer. It is a bloody tough buggy and I was tempted to strip out the leccys in the Hyper and keep this as a basher, but I cannot be bothered. The Tekno flies really well, and is very responsive compared to the slightly sloppier Hyper.

Used lightly in my RR10 bomber, and then a pair was used on my E-Firestorm for a short while. No leaks, excellent condition. The 2 that were on my E-Firestorm have traxxas rod ends instead of the stock proline ones, doesn't affect performance at all. They come with all spring rates, and the extra pistons. These are the best shocks I've ever used on a Bomber or SC truck, super smooth, easy to dial in and rebuild, and leak free. £60 posted for all 4
  8. Now, have you gone through the painful process of threadlocking all those little scale bolts in to place? It's a right pain, but you will loose some if you don't
  9. Cracked on with the build at the weekend. Unfortunately one of the packs of beadlocks came with one 6-bolt and one 5-bolt hub, so waiting to hear back from RCMart about this. Also the body has some darker patches where I didn't back it all with white and then black, but to be fair it came out ok, also it's not a shelf queen. The rear wheel still catch the body a little so I might need to trim a little more, but I'll see how it goes first. The Power HD servo seems pretty good for the price, but only time will tell. I think the plan for the future is to go with a hardbody at some point, I really like how they handle, more realistic but also take more care when driving.

These were used in my Pro MT 4x4 and have had maybe 10 runs each at the most. Always stored at storage. One has a broken balance lead, I opened it up and attempted to solder it back on, it works for now but I'm not sure how long it will last. But all 3 cells are fine and you can still charge it normally without balancing them if the lead breaks again. (In the picture you can see the broken lead, the lipo now has electrical tape around the hardcase) £35 for both, including postage and fees.
  11. Made a start, as I'm waiting on electrics there is only so much I can do, but it's been fun so far. Green slime on the o-rings, yet one of the shocks still leaks a little, I was planning to change them out anyway. Rear axle is buttery smooth, the front is a little notchy in places but should smooth out with some run time.
  12. You are aware you are comparing apples to oranges pretty much... A scale crawler like the Axial you have is not designed to crawl like a comp crawler type rig like the Scout.
  13. This, along with the 1973 Ford Bronco Body, paints and servo horn.Electrics, wheels and tyres are coming from RCMart
  14. Any updates on the performance of these shocks? Tempted to grab them for my incoming SCX10 II kit
  15. Watch this space... didn't bother saving for the Vanquish VS4-10, too pricey. So far I have on order: Axial SCX10 II Raw Builders Kit Pro-Line 1973 Bronco Body 12" (going dark metallic red with a white rear roof) Pitbull Rock Beasts 1.9 GMade AR06 Aluminium beadlocks Holmes Torquemaster Expert 35t Hobbywing 1080 Power HD LW-25HD Servo And we'll take it from there
