  1. Not had a chance to run it, but looks surprisingly well built and put together for the price. Battery is charged but the weather is a bit crap today.
  2. I think they are importing them in to the UK rather than being an own brand thing.
  3. I couldn't seem to find a specific thread for this model, I've just ordered one and was wondering if anyone else here owns one? I'll be running it on 3s, probably going to change the diff oils out to 20k front and 15k rear or as near to that as possible (need to see what I've got in my RC box) - I've ordered a SRT servo for it too. I'll be planning to keep it mostly stock I think, bash, break, repair, repeat kind of thing. I've done my time of getting trucks and upgrading them, then selling at a loss, I just want something relatively durable and easy to maintain whilst still being fun to drive.
  4. It's better value to just buy the BLX versions than to upgrade the Mega to brushless.
  5. Just something fun... Looking forward to giving it a bit of a blast. I may have also ordered an Arrma Granite V3 BLX 🙄 I've been missing a good basher in my fleet - hoping it might turn up tomorrow.
  6. North Wales has some stunning places for scale crawlers, looking forward to going back.
  7. Really impressed with the Mini 2 so far - it's a brilliant little drone and being 249g it's perfect for flying anywhere (nearly).
  8. Video was at Cissbury Ring Been messing with photo's for now - max operating height of 120m today as it was really clear and still.
  9. Went out with my brother for a trail run today, got them nice and muddy!
  10. Not much of an update but I still have both SCX10 II's, my red one now finally has pitbull rock beast tyres too so both rigs are identical essentially. The black one will likely be used by my brother, need to remove the unicorn sticker though 😉 I'll try and get out with them soon, it's been too long since they last had a run.
  11. Tyres courtesy of @Gaz! Now both SCX10 II's are exactly the same, and I'll actually have some grip (stock axial tyres were a bit rubbish)
  12. I haven't flown a quad in years and it was very misty as you can see, so not the most stable footage but it was it's first flight 🙂
  13. First new RC in a long time, dipping my feet into aerial video/photography. I'm learning video editing for work purposes so this will be handy footage to process in my spare time, along with the enjoyment of flying drones. (and yes, it's been registered and has my operator ID on it now, that pic was fresh out of the box)
  14. Alloys added, got rid of the steel wheel with plastic trim.
  15. Jetex filter fitted today (air filter box lid did go back on, don't want hot air in there)

Even the full-time employed quite often live paycheck to paycheck with the current rental market etc... What @babylon said is ridiculous, I know a lot of sound engineers who have very little and go gig to gig to earn a living.

Recession due to the virus and no doubt another due to actually exiting the EU, likely with no deal. That's how I'm seeing it, but a few of you may look with rose tinted glasses and see otherwise. It's funny how the UK were so keen to control its borders, yet when it came to shutting them due to a virus they didn't want to until the last minute.

The thing is, Boris has a track record of wasting tax payers money on things that never happen. So when something does happen, he has the opposite attitude. https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2017/aug/18/bridge-940m-bill-boris-johnsons-mayora-vanity-projects-garden-bridge-routemaster-bus It would be nice to see the government spend those amounts on assuring self-employed people have some security when it comes to rent/food/mortgages etc...
  19. Well my little Mazda 2 1.4 had a few issues, the woes of buying used cars and modern diesel systems (Injector issues) so I had it fixed and sold it on before any other problems showed up. To be honest it was great around town, but when going to visit the other half's family in Birmingham the car lacked any guts on the motorway. I sold some audio bits and spent a little more on a 08 plate Ford Focus Style with the 1.8 petrol engine, naturally aspirated 125bhp, not great on fuel but lovely to drive and it's only got 60k miles on it. It has the odd scratch here or there, and a little surface rust underneath but mechanically it seems very solid. Jetex air filter coming, and one day in the future I hope to get some alloys for it and maybe change the exhaust. 2 other focus 1.8's I went to see had oil leaking from the cam-chain cover, one was impeccable outside and had the Zetec S trim but I didn't want a car with an oil leak, even though it was minor.
  20. Will build up 1-year with Hastings then maybe change, not looking to mod the little Mazda much as it's always going to be a slow 1.4 68bhp Diesel. Got a Pipercross panel filter for it though as I can wash and maintain it over the stock paper one, not expecting any gains from it at all.
  21. Maybe when my stock shocks give up I'll think about them :) my car is crazy light so shouldn't put much strain on them and the stock ride is very firm.
