Hi all, Does anyone have a rolling drift/car type rolling chassis and an old shell they no longer use or need? Upgrading my hpi so the bits I'm taking off it I can put them on something else for my little brother to bash about for his bday. Thanks Xander

I'm just getting into this so thought I'd be best to get a 2nd hand one, hasn't been set up to drift so enjoying doing it myself, just having a hard time trying to find upgraded pieces

If you do get the hpi sprint 2, I've just dismantled the rear diff to lock it up and found a really easy reversible way on YouTube.

Hi bud, yeah I think that him, he's got a tamiya Subaru up now? It's all in great condition, the shells a bit based but that's expected and everything works perfectly. Came very well protected in a suitable box as well so if he's got some more up if go for one

I've just got this, all I know is it's a HPI - think it's a sprint 2 drift but not set up to drift - new to all of this so trying to get my head around it all.

Ah right, a mate of mine had said it might be worth getting a new motor as the other might be dead, I've got a 3000 hpi plazma battery on the way as the other doesn't seem up to much anymore.

Ok, in the drift guide it says the best motors are 19turn - 27turn, mines a 19, will take it out later to see what type it is. Alright, appreciate the help bud!

Hi all, New to the RC modifying world so don't really know anything, I'm currently working my through the electric drift guide on here to hopefully learn a bit more and I've just purchased myself this to stop spending money on my actual car, I think it's a HPI Sprint 2 Drift (correct me if I'm wrong): I think its a HPI Sprint, this is the description from the ebay add, still trying to work a few bits out: Custom Subaru WRX body shell with classic blue paint and spoiler BBS style lumo pink low offset drift wheels and soft compound tyres Uprated springs Track spacers for better stance and handling Hpi speed controller Mini Acoms receiver Acoms servo Fast Orion 19turn motor 2800 battery pack Acoms controller Fully bull raced Loads of set up adjustment Smooth belt drive Some spares and all manuals New wheels, tyres, controller, battery and a couple of other bits are on order already. Had a play earlier and I think it's set up for racing but have no idea. Also does anyone know where the best place is to get upgraded parts? Any help/info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Xander

Had a bit of a drive earlier and it's set up for racing I think, plus there's a problem with the radio connection somewhere, keeps cutting out. Ok cool, thanks for the help

How do I go about searching for upgrades? Like I said, I'm pretty new to all of this so don't know what I'm doing, still trying to work out how to set up my car to drift
