Lol. Nothing has been proved wrong or right. Like I've said. Unless something is drastically wrong.... It should start..... When the fault is proven, then you can point fingers at quality control etc So please before you embarrass yourself with you dummy spitting lines and how you watch and listen to people makes you a expert, prove your theory that a car will start with the LSN turned 1 full turn either way as it doesn't work for me personally. I believe as the battery was flat there way no throttle control either. Edit - What's that stock settings on the LSN?

I guess you right. Please educate us all by showing us a demo video. Edit - I guest because my car didn't start after 5 pulls something was drastically wrong - That drastic problem fixed itself after I tuned the LSN. Its a miracle.

lol really. Let's see you start a flooded car if you don't hold throttle open and pull the starter till your arm is pumped. Do all models come through you for "starting" that you could quote "Any CY or Zenoah engine can be almost a full turn in either direction..... Bla bla bla" Edit - Utter rubbish! My KM won't start if I do that!

I cannot agree with that. If I twist my HT lead slightly it doesn't line up. Carb settings will vary from carb to carb and engine to engine. My car couldn't start on factory needle settings, once tweaked a bit, fires 1st time every time now. A new engine also has oil to keep the engine fresh, sometimes making the first start difficult. If the car has fuel (which it does) has spark (which it does) and air it will start. So it must be a tuning error. Unless something drastic is wrong with it, it will start. RC Modelz has already publicly offered support if he can't get it started. So before quality control is blamed, facts should be proven first. Well done to RC Modelz for offering support with out being asked. Does HPI do that to? Why test a battery sealed in its box? lol. That's factory error, not RC modelz quality control.

What exactly didn't they check with regards to this car? 1 - The HT lead? Possibly twisted when the HT lead was removed off the spark plug and pushed aside to remove spark plug 2 - The Engine, no start? Could be tuning error.

All of them are safe to. Make sure you blow all the water out and lube them up after Seal them in a bag after lubing or assemble so no dust can collect on the lube.

I wouldn't be Quick to blame the "quality control"? My KM wouldn't start at all when I got it. I reset needles to factory. Still no start. I Diagnosed the situation of LSN sorted it and now it starts on the button..... Was the failing to start because of quality control? The people who can talk about quality control on the X2 are the ones who have the X2 in front of them. The HT lead wasn't a problem, or "quality control" its how they are made. My Losi's HT lead did the same. As with anything there will be human mistakes at time. Some people are still learning about 2 strokes including myself.

Take the spark plug out. Dry it if its wet (flooded) tilt the car to the side and give it a few pulls with spark plug out. Replace the plug and try again.

After trying to start. Remove spark plug. Check if its wet with fuel. If it is lean LSN 1/8. If its not richen LSN 1/8. And so on. My KM wouldn't start on stock settings. Had to richen it up.

If the od is 10mm with a wall thickness of 1mm then it won't fit cause it makes it 9mm. You need 10mm id tube. Hope this helps [emoji106]

Just twist it until you see through the copper coil in the ht lead. The top of the spark plug slides into that coil. Its not a problem, its common with the leads. Hope this helps.

Tubes are only 25mm long, making it very strong. I don't see it bending at all. This weekend I'll put it to the test [emoji106]

Hello all. I have had a few requests on the recent roll cage mod I did on my Baja. So I thought I'd do a little write up. Its a very simple mod to do and really helps make life easier when working on you car. Here is a video of how it works. Below that will be a little guide [emoji106] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9D6irnB-OYg&app=desktop Tools you'll need. Drill with 2mm drill bit, hack saw or dremel. 4 large body clips. I used a std HPI glow starter which I cut for the tube as it fits perfect just unscrew the sleeve [emoji106] Cut the 2 ends of the sleeve off and cut the remaining piece in half to get this.. Cut the cage in while its still on the car so you can get the position of the tube where you want it and out the way of everything. Drill 2 holes in either side of the tubes, drilling straight and right through so effectively you have 4 holes per tube. Fit the tubes onto the cage positioning them at exactly the halfway point and drill through the existing holes in the tube through the cage [emoji106] Fit the rear half of the cage through the tubes. (Make sure existing holes in cage/tube have the pins through them so the don't move. Pull the cage as far in the tube as it goes so it's flush against the other side in the tube and drill the remaining holes. That's it done. You can drill bigger and fit screws if you wish or use the pins Hope this helps [emoji106]
