  1. I have 1, the other is misplaced[emoji2359] I’ve got a pre drilled hpi shell, and it matches the posts I’m after. Really don’t want to buy a full parts bag, but may have to[emoji2359]
  2. Stickers on Just waiting on the spoiler
  3. Does anyone have any laying around? You have to buy a whole parts bag to get them[emoji35]
  4. Can anyone point me in the direction of a part number, or identify these mounts? I believe they’re the mounts for hpi shells, to a Tamiya car? In desperate need of a pair
  5. Front bumper done, just need to stick the canards on
  6. I did see the Tamiya product mentioned, also the newer paint remover. But the remover is over £20 delivered. Also see a Carson paint remover at half the price, which I may invest in. As the local shop has some in stock But took a chance with the nail varnish remover, and was very careful. Hopefully they’ll be no damage down the line[emoji1695]
  7. I used it very sparingly, as some said it may leave clouding. Luckily it worked perfectly
  8. Window/door trim all done, painted on the outside in Matt black. Pretty pleased with the result, especially being my first paint job. Also the flexible Tamiya masking tape, is highly recommended [emoji1303][emoji1303]
  9. Used a tiny bit of nail varnish remover, on a cotton bud. Came right off[emoji28]
  10. What’s the best way to remove unwanted overspray/spray, on a lexan shell? And not cause damage Had a couple of mishaps with the masking tape[emoji2359]
  11. Been slowly getting back into the hobby now my sons are a bit older, and hopefully a lot less liable of smashing the cars up[emoji23] The chassis is a near fully hopped up TT01, with all new electrics. I’ve gone the whole hog on the body, to try and make it as near to the movie car as possible. I’m about 50% through it, about to paint the window lines tomorrow. Here’s a few pictures:
  12. I bought a 3 size set, I used a 1mm for the intricate areas, and 2mm for the larger areas. Amazon was the cheapest place
  13. Just used some molotow liquid chrome pens, as I couldn’t get a desired wheel colour off of the shelve for a replica build. This stuff looks amazing!! Real mirror chrome! Was recommended on another forum, as to be used on light buckets.
  14. Repaired the shock tower/gearbox, got rid of the stock electrics. And added a few more little bits (Excuse the wire connectors, ran out of bullets[emoji2359] so sacrificed an old motors wires to get it going)
  15. Don't worry about uk stock too much, most people buy from rcmart anyway. A lot of people like the d4 kits, they're cheap to buy and you can do some of the essential upgrades by using other manufacturers parts.
  16. Just won one of these, on an online competition [emoji847][emoji847][emoji847] I'll have to find some time now to get the car setup!!
  17. Link doesn't work for me?
  18. Don't know, I wouldn't bother at that money.
  19. Looks good, how'd you go about doing the plastic welding? From the pics you'd of thought that was vacuum formed
  20. How'd you do that rear window? Is it a bonnet vent off of another shell?
  21. Get the rear spool, and turnbuckle set too
