  1. The dimensions are 67.8 x 40.6 x 45.7. Does anyone know if this would fit into a savage? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. So i've managed to find this pack of two hump packs at what seems like an absolute steal: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Venom-5000mAh-5-Cell-Receiver-Battery/dp/B00FE0R8ZG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1427316072&sr=8-1&keywords=6v+hump+pack I currently have a Sprint nx84 NiMh charger which has a fixed output of 1A. The charge rate on the batteries above is quoted at 4.2A. Am I correct in assuming my current charger would be absolutely fine, but it would just take 4 times as long to charge?
  3. New clutch shoes for my savage :b was gonna go all out and get a buku unit, but

Is there a way to convert the crank and flywheel arrangement to an sg crank for a car? Like a screw on shaft or something, if there is I might have to jump on this :b Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Drove up onto the common with the savage and a load of fuel, only to discover my clutch shoes and bearings have completely disintegrated so I turned around and went home Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. It depends on the engine, big block engines (.21ci and over) most people recommend 25% nitro, smaller engines I use 20% what engine is it? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Started gluing my new wheels and tires together and tested my nitro cleaner that stuff it great but it doesn't last too long... Not much in the can... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Finally :b Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. A 'we missed you' card Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Pictures don't really do it justice but I think a savage looks pretty good in black Finished spraying it up earlier Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Bit the bullet and started spraying the tvps on my savage black to make it look stealthy :b also found that a driveshaft popped out of the cyclone last weekend noticed it while driving, but had no time to investigate further till today :') Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I've found the traxxas 500ml one to work well and I think my other one is a fastrax 350ml which is great Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Shimmed the clutch on my savage so it doesn't wobble :b Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I don't know specifically about your model, but to change the steering angle, if you transmitter has the capability, you can try adjusting your servo end points, otherwise a different size steering bell crank or a longer servo horn would work Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I'll check it out when it gets a bit warmer Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Is this the place?? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I can make an mdf mould no problem, but I was just wondering if there was a quicker and simpler way of making it, as making a proper mdf mould will take me a long time to make and get right as I don't have much spare time due to exams... It was just a thought if it won't work I'll just have to wait and spend some time making a proper mould then Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Okay, thanks guys Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Managed to get my girlfriend to come bash with me for the first time :b ran a few tanks through the slayer and didn't break anything which is a first for me had 15 tanks through it now and runs like a dream Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Welcome to the forum I'm about 45 minutes from mk, but it's my go to bashing place as I know a couple of really good spots :b Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. So I've been thinking about making some bodies myself for my slayer as I imagine they'll get broken fairly quickly and I don't really want to keep paying
  22. I've used some some stuff similar to this in design technology at school and it is very tough and fairly easy to work with, but it cools down quickly and I find you need to work fairly quickly... Only other limitation I can see from my point of view (that's nitro is that the heat from the engine will limit the parts you can actually make since they will start to flop and go soft at 60-70 degrees Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. So, the clues in the title, does anybody know of any good bash sites near berkhamsted?? Looking for somewhere off road with plenty of jumps, looking for places up to 45 min away, may stretch to an hour if it's all day :b I've pored all over google maps for quarries and bmx tracks, but I can't find anything that won't get me arrested for trespassing :') Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. I finished breaking I the cyclone's new engine, before taking the slayer out for it's first proper bash :b nine tanks in and I love it, it's pretty quick and it has taken more of a beating than my savage, two grip rolls, both ending in end over end flips and it's still intact and now she's nice and muddy Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
