  1. Sure is but it was the first one that came up for me. Did you get any useful tips etc from that forum?
  2. Pic from here. http://www.rctech.net/forum/nitro-off-road/761792-two-custom-hpi-wr8-3-0-a.html I've never needed them as the plastic ones are cheap enough. No experience with any leaking diff so can't comment. As for upgrades, I've used all the essential jazrider upgrades which are plentiful Stooza. Welcome to the wr8 club hope you enjoy! Oh and stick a castle 2650kv in it
  3. Pretty sure this Is the same one but in the uk. https://www.smddirect.co.uk/fmbr3201-1-32-burn-room.html
  4. Is this what you mean mate? http://www.ebay.com/itm/LRP38578-LRP-ZR-32-Spec-2-Combustion-Chamber-/121951531529?hash=item1c64e0b209:g:bqAAAOSw-kdX1QwS
  5. This is the one I'm talking about. With a bigger engine you have to take into account the size difference. Like the length and width of the engine, as you might have to drill into the chassis to make new holes for the bigger engine mount and also wether you can fit the engine in without anything blocking or preventing the flywheel and clutch bell from seating properly. Could be the start to a mini project
  6. Just had a look online and have found a few people running engines with a rear facing exhaust port coming round to the right. So if you have find an engine you like that has the exhaust port coming out the back, then you should be alright.
  7. You need a specific orientation as the engine mount is in the right hand side. If you get a left handed engine then it probably won't fit. Sucks as many upgraded engine are different orientation. did you ever get to test it?
  8. Cheers mate! I'll report back if I'm successful!
  9. Thanks for the help guys! I did a bit of extensive research to find the problem that is the same as mine and found out that the jitteriness is Most likely caused by interference, and as my Esc for the plane doesn't have a BEC, I've ordered a ubec which comes with a ferrite core thingy which basically gets Rid of any interference and people who have had jittery servos have got this little ferrite ring core and has proved wonders.
  10. you just need to reverse channel 2 assuming you have the throttle/brake servo in that channel.
  11. Thanks for the email! I think if I can remember with nitros, you can plug the battery into another port. As it should still power up
  12. I'm having a problem with 1 of my 9gram servos. It will jitter and vibrate when input is given to that channel. It's pretty annoying. The only thing I can think of to what the problem might be is it might not be able to find its centre point or interference maybe?
  13. I never got any Hpi upgrades, I got jazrider parts. Who was the guy you spoke to about the outerwears? Id like to get some. That's the thing about this hobby, we all get excited when we get new toys. I love mine lol Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  14. Maybe. It's a true 1/8th but its size is more like a 1/10. There are many upgrades that can be done to it, but I'm not sure why companies like rpm haven't made upgrade parts for it. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  15. I agree! I've got nothing else to upgrade as I've done all I can. Now it's just a case of bash it and repair although I do love the wr8
  16. I'm pretty sure you can just run a lipo straight on it, but you might have to change the lvc to suit the lipo.
  17. Yeah I looked on online for them and Amazon said they were 0.2x0.2x0.2 makes no sense
  18. The shock cover, I can't find any who sell in the uk and as with the airfilter cover, it's not necessary for a cover on a small car but you can get a waterproof filter to also protect from dust and dirt. as with the arm dimensions I'll measure them when I get home.
  19. To open the tank up, you should either have a little latch just about the left rear track or you will have to unscrew about 5 screws on the bottom around the outside. just be careful when you get the top off as there will be wires connected. Good luck
  20. Hello! Just checking wether you had checked the wires for breakages?
  21. I did have the lexan outerwear from Australia for the wr8 but never ended up using it as it wouldn't fit over my big motor leads. Only concern with outer wears is the build up of heat which can be an issue.
  22. The forums been having issues lately but not sure why. Not sure on servo saver but for steering, I just use an alloy servo born from eBay and have had no issues with destroying the servo.
  23. +1 on sunnies point. it could be a case of something is too tight as it binding and causing excessive drag
  24. The pro spec shocks are for a short course truck so they will be too long. The powerstrokes are a pretty much perfect fit and are much more beefy. ive actually got the 1258tg, just had a look. But yeah you can use a steering servo for throttle, I'm pretty sure there isn't a dedicated throttle servo, you just use a steering servo.
  25. We all live and learn bud! The proline shocks are what I will be getting when funds are sorted.
