  1. Playing fetch with the dog tonight in the park as I normally do. Go to pick the stick up off the grass and there lying next to it is this The tailfin off my 120SR that I lost last September, perhaps before. It was literally sitting 50 feet from my doorstep and i go the same way every night with the dog and never saw it. Just goes to show you should never give up hope lol
  2. I know the ST has a much wider wheel base than the BX. Top and bottom arms, CVD's and I think maybe the dampers are all shorter on the BX.
  3. Hard disc failed big time today. Lost over 100gb of hardcore rave sets that I have been collecting for the last eight years or so. Hundreds of hours of tape ripping and downloading and web searching gone forever. Gutted :(

File system corrupt? Sorry mate, that sucks. Sometimes they just fry the power side and the disc is good

  4. I think if it was manufactured with a cat and it is not present at MOT test, it will fail. That said, I had a 1994 Mini and removed the cat when fitting a MG Metro lump and it never failed the MOT because of it so who knows. To be honest I would personally look at fitting a Zetec lump over the XR2 one. Bear in mind that even the youngest XR2 cvh lumps are over 20 years old now. Unless you know that the cvh lump is a good one id go Zetec.
  5. 72 escort is rwd fiesta is front wheel drive. highly doubtful it will fit without serious mods if at all.

  9. ive got an rtr lunchie ready to go
  10. is it the time lapse part? i think i had to update mobius firmware for that to become active
  11. You should only be adjusting the HSN about an 1/8th of a turn at a time, 1 and a half turns is way too much. When you are approaching WOT do the revs go really high or does it sound like it needs to clear its throat?
  12. Very impressed with these trenchers. The S50 looks like it could demolish a small village with them on. What do you think?
  13. Just been collected my set of proline trenches. didn't realise just how big they are. gonna look sweet on the s50

  14. If im am at home i use a painting stripping gun. I heat the heat sink to between 170-200 F.
  15. Have you preheated the engine? I find it helps no end with an engine thats reluctant to fire.
  16. Now sold seven of my rc collection and the shelves are looking bare

how many have you got left

  17. Yes mate you are getting there. Lean the LSN in 1/8th increments, driving it in between to clear out the excess fuel. It is dying becuase now there is more fuel than air in the chamber.
  18. hovering over the buy button on a set of proline ternchers for the s50

got some in the fs section

  19. I'm on Byrons 25 and the MSN is untouched. I don't think you are supposed to mess with them to be honest
  20. It has got to be mega lean mate try going super rich on the lsn. If it changes the idle at least you have a starting point.
  21. Your throttle trim is set ok isn't it?
  22. if it was a case of too much fuel it would of been really groggy and would of cut out long before.
  23. Its running way too lean thats why it took so long so start. Wind that HSN out to flush and take it from there.
