  1. Such a nice looking buggy! I'm surprised there aren't more knocking about. Thanks for the info.
  2. Looking at kits, nitro and electric, deciding which to go for! Seen the S-Works S350 and think it looks like a really nice buggy.. Would be kit form so can build my own specs. Anyone had any experience with these?
  3. Hi guys, after a Spektrum TX and RX.. Will buy seperate from different ppl. The DX I don't mind what model as long as I can store 3 to 4 on there. RX, 3 channel or more! Let me know. Thanks. Alan.
  4. Hi all, Anywhere decent in the Birmingham area to take the buggy? Don't mind if it's a track or a BMX track or somewhere where it's decent and got decent jumps etc, just fun and practice no racing. Would love to get on that BMX track in Perry Barr!
  5. It's only a TT EB4 S2.5 pro, only 3 weeks old today! Ran in correctly, not had loads of use, bashing mostly.. RTR.. Cost me
  6. My TT is great! Bashes well, rolled it at top speed and it got back up and carried on! Must of been a bad 'un you had!
  7. Nice one for the suggestion guys, Alturns purchased and fitted. Now I just got to tune the thing up. HATE IT! Let's hope I can get it going as it should be.
  8. Could be a number of things then really.. The shoes could be slipping as they are worn and not engaging properly, so it's revving really high and not going fast enough. It could be geared too high as suggested earlier. Also with the tuning it should never bog, have a bit of smoke throughout the rev range.. It took me a lot of fiddling to get it right, but it goes like stink. What T clutch bell is on there?
  9. Sometimes that's what it takes! Walk away and try another day!
  10. Cheers guys, I'll give them a look this weekend as I go on the hunt for spares etc.
  11. Hmm maybe, I am new to this nitro scene but there is zero lag, just goes like stink, the step I talk about is right at the peak of the RPM too, maybe last 3-4k revs... I'll adjust and see what happens. Thanks for the info
  12. Hi all I'm looking for the best LHS in Birmingham, don't mind travelling a little to get to one. My LHS is pretty much useless tbh and mainly concentrates on Planes and Heli's and hasn't got the time of day for me (impression I get). The closest main hobby store is Wheelspin in Cannock but I prefer local ones. Good ones for bits and bobs, servo's, hump packs, general stuff. Cheers!!
  13. Ahh thanks, I think I know what you mean! (I'm new), yes I have a 2.4ghz with that adjustment im sure. Im sourcing a Spektrum controller and rx so that should defo do that!
  14. Defo can't knock them for the price! - Thanks for the info mate
  15. They look great for the money! And as they come recommended I might as well give them a bash. Ok to use for both steering and throttle/brake?
  16. Got the standard issued SC-0254mg in at the moment but every so often goes into a mad twitch and doesn't respond to input, switch off and back on then goes ok! I can't trust that so need a new one. While I'm there I might aswell replace the throttle/brake one too. Obviously budget is the key to what to get next, there are so many! Any recommendations for around
  17. Hi mate, i'm new on here too and also bought myself a s25 pro a few weeks back! I had the same thing, I noticed out the box the buggy came with alot of camber /...\ and loads of toe out. I took the wheels off and changed the front knuckle pre set to bring the half shafts in and straighten it up. Then moved the camber adjustment so it's slightly in. I also adjusted the toe so it was slightly out too. With the toe adjuster rods I also moved them from the outside to the inside for faster steering response. After all this it drives straight and true with the setting in neutral on the TX. It's all tuned now and really goes like stink! It's surprised me to be honest. Enjoy. PS - I don't know the techy terms for it all but know what I mean in my own head!
  18. Stripped the engine down completely, flushed it and re-oiled it. Put all back together and it looks great, let's hope it starts lol ! Oh and Fitting new clutch shoes and springs tomorrow.
  19. Hey all, new member here and new to the game... I have a Hyper SS with a Reedy VR21 and Jammin JP4 pipe, running 20% nitro. This be decent enough to take to the track and be sufficient? - Fradley is my closest I think.. I can drive the thing in any situation no probs as used to drive everyday as a kid with a Tamiya Boomerang and haven't lost the knowhow. Thanks!
  20. Ahh I need some new shoes for my Hyper (Reedy lump).. I was looking at the alloy ones, better bite?
  21. I bought the TT EB4 S2.5 Pro 2 weeks back and broke it in on 16%, still using it for now as I got the tuning smack on. That thing flies! It seems to have 2 stages of power, when its high rpm there is a step up again so don't see the need for any more!
