Yep rustler's here and raring to go. Plus i'm bringing my firestorm as thats all fixed up now....

The spring between the planet gear is there for a reason it must keep the gears square to ensure correct gear mesh. I've found for sale 3 different size springs sold as adjustment springs which come separate to a new diff assy kit may be one of those will have less tension & give easier turning. Ill keep looking for more info as I'm probably going to come across this at some stage. Elv

Ill take a video tomorrow to show what happens Thanks again for all the input Decided to try it out as is & it does seem fine, not given it any hard runs just around garden. Hopefully should be ok for Saturdays bash. Will report back any changes.

I've not taken the motor completely out ive removed the cover & span the wheels/motor & yes it spins freely. On the firestorm it sounds like a ratchet when the wheels spun, really notchy sort of grinding noise, It just doesn't feel or sound ok, but I don't have a like for like comparison only another rc car ?
