  1. Just a few pics of my D8T flying when I racing on Sunday. Shells vile I know. It came with the car when I bought it. The proline bulldog shells are as useful as a double ended condom. So got a new original D8T shell coming week
  2. Hi Just upgraded the Losi servo to a Hitec HS-22MG on my Mini 8. Problem is the servo saver splines are different. Anyone know where I can buy the correct servo saver? Got to be 24 spline to. Thanks

  4. Sprayed a new Losi 3.0 shell today. Opposite colours to what this years race colours were so this is 2014's race colours This years race colours 2014's race colours Also got a new Ryan Lutz Alpha engine and exhaust after my receiver failed on me and sent my dragon off full chat till it went upside down and blew up before anyone could get to it. It's rebuildable so that's the next plan

  6. Hi Recently just acquired a 1/12 BMI racing DB12RE pan car as I want to get out of 1/8th off road over the winter months. Bought all the gear I think I need for this just waiting on delivery on it all. I bought for the little thing
  7. Give Nimrif models a call in Plymouth. Jon sells a lot of 2nd hand models for customers. He's selling two of mine at the mo ( one HotBodies 1/8 nitro off-road truggy the other a Tamiya TL-01 brushless RTR 1/10 on road). You'll be surprised at what he does sell 01752 511999
  8. Changed all diff oils in the D8T to 7-10-3, changed clutch bearings and set the truggy and losi up on the Hudy set up station. Then took pics of them and played round with colour splash Also got rid of the switches in both losi and D8T (I have an issue with switches!) and soldered on some deans plugs so I can charge between races keep my batteries topped up and no risk of the switch going faulty And now just fitted a new 3 shoe aluminium clutch to the D8T
  9. If your free this Sunday Plymouth RC track have there Louise series round 6 final with the sponsors of the series and there sponsored and team drivers coming down to race. Should be a very good day and very competitive. Plymouth track is not as fast as Perranporth but it's very technical with a lot of tight turns and ruts. Which makes it interesting
  10. This would be good fun. Only a few miles down the road from me to. But the initial start up cost is going to be a lot though
  11. Finally got my bulldog shell so I can get rid of the old horrible D8T shell. Looks a lot better I think. Ready for racing on Sunday. Also matches my losi buggy shell. Racing colours now
  12. Hi Just bought one of these set up stations for my Losi 3.0 & HB D8T. Great bit of kit with great easy to understand instructions. I'd just though I'd share a little tip for you guys though and save yourself
  13. After a lot of info I've read and spoke to my local shop he didn't even want to take my money for them (honest shop keeper) so got a Hudy set up station on route instead to keep adjusting the set ups to how I want it.
  14. Anyone ever tried the Losi 8ight smart diffs? Are they worth it? Do you change the front and centre or rear aswell. All I know is the diff goes to an open diff when off power aiding steering Thanks
  15. In Plymouth I am might be coming down to perranporth next wk d for battle of the counties
  16. Went racing down Perranporth RC track last Sunday racing the 3.0 and hit a post pretty hard. Thought my shock was just nackered but after some further investigation today I found out my hinge pin and lower arm was bent so luckily I had spares already and within five minutes fix it was sorted!! Not bad as the first breakage in four months of racing it. And thats after a lot of abuse. Luckily I keep a spare 3.0 kit close by The old on the left the new on the right
  17. Changed my Alpha A872 engine for the Alpha Dragon race engine in my Losi 3.0 so ive got to do the first idle tank tonight or tomorrow. Put the Worlds Fugliest Louise spoiler on my D8T truggy. Meant to make the rear like glue so the recommendations I've had off people at the track. We shall see.....
  18. The D8T shell is Fugly so got a Proline bull dog shell on order to spray up the same as the Losi
