Done a bit more to my Mog this morning, nothing too extreme, but still something. I fitted some orange LED's to the rear and it makes the car look a lot better, also i started planning the design for my camper section, and went browsing for some accessories. But i can't decide if i should mount a light bar on the bonnet or the roof? Ben.

Hi, mate welcome to the forum. The ECX mini trucks are said to be great little trucks. However, it will depend on what you intend to do with it as to wether it is the right choice. If you plan on running outside you would be better off with a 1/10 scale (FTX carnage/vantage, Maverick strada mt/xb/xt or even a 1/10 scale ECX) but if your children are a bit young then the 1/18 scale ECX would be fine for indoor use. Also you'll need to find some longer screws for the steering kit because the standard ones are too short and i recommend you get aloy push rods for the rear because it makes such a huge difference and looks a lot better.(look at the pictures of my cc01 on page 1) By the way welcome to the club Ben.

I don't think there's any problem with the clones, when the real deal costs so much it seems stupid that you should pay for the brand as well as the car. I'm desperate to get into the petrol world and it was cars like the KM baja that helped me realise I could afford something in that area. I respect people who fork out the money for an Hpi or a losi but I don't think that people who buy clones should be hated for choosing the cheaper and easier option. Ben.

Rovan work out more expensive in the end due to postage, and that one is expensive for a clone. Is it just because its 4wd? Ben.

Thos is better value than a dingo because you get a licensed body and better stock tyres, those seem to be the first things replaced on an scx10. Ben.

If you want detail get a Pandora bodyshell, they sell them at radshaperc. Or even get a Yokomo body. Ben.
