    broken radio

hi, had a good bash today with my baja and probably felt a little bit too exited and pressed the brake too hard then this happened: it's a flysky gt3b radio l received with my KM baja. any thoughts or ideas how to fix that?
  8. the steering servo on KM bajas is really good IMO, but the THROTTLE/BREAK one is really poor quality and needs replacing ASAP.
  9. l bought these: http://www.rcmodelz.co.uk/product/j029j030orange.php http://www.rcmodelz.co.uk/product/alloy-rear-shock-brace-orange.php clutch carrier: http://www.rcmodelz.co.uk/product/Aluminum-Clutch-Bell-Carrier-Orange-B077-85436.php and servo: http://www.modelsport.co.uk/savox-sc-1256-coreless-digital-servo-high-torque-/rc-car-products/31644 l do not bash very hard, but sometimes my baja jumps about 1-1,5 meter in the air and no broken parts so far.
  10. alloy clutch carrier front/rear shock suports better throttle/break servo( the stock one is really cheap made) kill switch
  11. in my opinion yes, but l would look for a bit less powerful, but faster servo. l have this in my baja, and can't fault it: http://www.modelsport.co.uk/savox-sc-1256-coreless-digital-servo-high-torque-/rc-car-products/31644
  12. l already said this in other topic. the only reason t1000 is worse on corners is because it has more ground clearance and COG is higher , BUT it is better off road than 5b. before l bought mine l was warned about the shell, but l decided to take a risk and as the owner l can tell you the shell is very flexible. probably KM changed the quality of the shell as well.
  13. +1 .... l was going to say exactly same thing, but IMO the throttle/break servo needs upgrading. l changed mine only because l had a high torque savox servo as a spare from nitro cars l sold. l decided to take the stock KM T/B servo apart and have a look inside. l never seen tower pro servo copies, but l guess it's one of them and very cheap made. l still have it and it works, l will use it for steering in RC car in future but definately not for T/B duties. BTW steering servo is really good
  14. how come you are the only busy man in the picture ?
  15. If you going to sell the brushless stuff why not sell the roller as well? I sold my both nitro trucks to fund the T1000 and the reasson l did it is the quality improvement on KM cars. I would never spend 1100 pounds on hpi, because l just can't afford it. ATM l am trying to spend 20-30pounds a week on upgrades and trying to buy only neseasary stuff. If you can't decide of which one to get, l can tell you that T1000 or 5T has bigger ground clearance, but it rolls very often on tight cornering when driving on grass. My mate has a 5B and he can do donuts and sharp turns on almost any surface. So when l drive it at high speeds l need to be very carefull with steering. Good luck with saving... as l said l sold my both nitros and l used to say to my self that l will never sell my muggy, but l did and no reagrets...
  16. most of the time people ask me, is it petrol? l say yes.... then l am always been asked, how much? l say 460... most people walk away by saying that it's expensive, but there are some which say: why so cheap? then l explain then that it's a clone bla, bla, bla... l already had 2 offers to sell my baja, one of the offers was 600, but l said big fat NO....
  17. l know... probably l shouldn't say that because there so many of other clones, but l am really happy with engine in my KM baja (7 littres of fuel so far). it starts on 3-4th pull every time and steering servo is really good as well. the throttle/break servo looked very cheap so l replaced it straight away, but the rest of the car
  18. mate you definetely need to see the latest KM bajas. they have loads suspension parts (plastic)which are even better than HPI...
  19. fitted axle extenders and shocks socks. will be taking baja out in about 30 minutes, just need to wait for girlfriend to come back home. why they always takes so long!?
  20. this was only my opinion and maybe a bit stupid joke... l guess "genuine" is the one with the higher price and was sold much earlier than clones or copies.
  21. KM shock socks-great quality!!! rear axle extenders 2 diff gaskets
