I run 20% Byron in mine, seems a good fuel, but it’s personal choice, I second Stormbringers comment on Os8 plugs they are really good. once you get comfortable with it then you can tune it to get more speed.

Hi, next time, take off the air filter and starve it of air, it will soon stop then. Did it have a lot of fuel left in the tank, was the carb closed when it ran away? It could be a leaking bearing or an air leak from somewhere else,, if an engine pulls in air then it will idle erratic or won’t start, leaking front bearing by flywheel is quite common, or carb not sealing correctly against body of car, what engine is it, what fuel are you using? Hi all Haven’t posted in a while so here goes. i have a Hpi TF 40 and 3 receivers for it, an original rf40 and 2 x rf40wp’s., now here the problem the original and one of the wp one works well In most of my cars but one of the wp versions will only work in my hpi recon. It’s bound and all operators in the hpi rcon as it should but if I swap to say my nitro 4 tec all that happens when turned on is the led blinks, I’ve tried various battery packs. But it will only work in the hpi mini recon... I’m a tad baffled. Also I bought a voltz hump pack, my original rf40 works fine with this battery but the wp (this is the one that works in my 4 tec with standard 4 AA batteries) just blinks the led... I can’t get my head around this, the voltz is putting out about 6.5 volts. any help/ suggestions would be appreciated regards Martin

Are you using the engine mount that came with engine, got issues with mine, stripped the holes of thread.

Hi all I need a new Revo picco 26 max engine mount, been reading the ofna ones aren't great. Stripped thread from the 2 blind holes, any suggestions on an alternative or should I just thread lock in the bolts if and when I can source one?.

Well the 4th is with me,got it running on my black and decker workmates. I'm nearly 3 tanks in, running it rich. Lots of oil and smoke from exhaust, might put it in my Revo after next tank.

I put on a pull start at first, got it fired up for about 5 seconds then about 8 seconds, I'm using byron 20% with an os 8 plug. It then got stuck a tdc, taken skin off my finger trying to push down piston and turn flywheel with pull start off. Had to take off head to try to push piston down.

Anyone broke in a picco 26 max, getting problems with engine getting stuck at tdc
