  3. Solid or locked in the back and if you can a one way in the front and oh look we have the same name minus an r lol good luck mate. Peter
  4. There was a DX drift version of your car and im sure most of the parts would be interchangeable so maybe you should look into that and buy a donor car
  5. rear diff is a normal one but ive tightened it up so much that it is basically locked as I said its made from a mass up of parts lol. And yes you can I run a solid diff in my TC4 speed project in the rear. I haven't seen many people convert TC4's so I thought it would be something interesting to do. Good luck with yours mater
  6. This is my first ever drifter but has been a project on the side for the last 6 months as ive been focusing on my speed cars. Specs: TC4 Club Racer Chassis Savox SC-1252 MG Low Profile Servo Speed Passion V3.0 Competition BL 10.5T motor Castle Sidewinder V3 ESC Castle Fan heat sink on the ESC 28 Tooth Pinion, 71 Tooth Spur One Way Front Diff 26mm HPI Vintage Drift Tires And Vintage Rims 0mm Offset On Front 31mm HPI Vintage Drift Tires And Vintage Rims 6mm Offset On Rear Light Kit Scania R730 Shell 2S lipo The progress on the build so far is that im just waiting on the shell, light kit and battery. P.S this car has had a lot of modding and bodging as it was built from left over parts.
  7. its the open class which mean do what ya like right ok thanks
  8. Titto Medina ran in the turnigy 5000 with a 2s and ran a 105 and change is this not on your board as it was not held at an official rossa event?
  9. bit stupid that it come with that angle at the bottom as your shell my not have the same slant bonnet as the one it is fitted to in the picture so the mock motor could be pointing upwards if you have a flat bonnet. They should make the bottom of it 90 degrees to the top then people can file it to what ever they like.
  10. this is better though
  11. well i think 2s Ill get near or over 105mph as the guy that won the turnigy 5000 2s class ran a stock tc4 chassis with the same body as me and more or less the same powertrain and gearing, so tacking into account that mine is lighter and more aero dynamic also have a undertray I think that 105mph is my goal
  12. thanks ive also decided im only going to enter the 2s class for rossa and I have a target to beet of 105mph
  13. thanks mate, well I. Said to him how about you buy me a body and paint and ill put some of your stickers on it and then you can say that they went 100mph + on an rc car hopefully and he said ok lol
  14. well the wing was one strip of aluminium with a rc lexan wing on top. The distance from the tip to the strip was 10mm but the lexan was way too flexible so I have put a fold in the aluminium at the back edge now. I put thought in to the dimensions of the hole thing but nothing proper math was used. So instead I made the wing adjustable by the two slots that each strut has.
  15. if only i could get a 1/5 shell probably would have to get one made
  16. hi mate yep hpi mclaren f1 paint is florescent blue backed off with white but a two tone across the whole car as I concentrated the paint flow towards the outer edges of the car heres a pic from the top white paint http://www.modelsport.co.uk/paint/rc-car-categories/9950/995025&MSAttributeID[61]=720&MSAttributeID[54]=698&MSAttributeID[104]=1111 blue paint http://www.modelsport.co.uk/humbrol-fluorescent-blue-acrylic-spray-150ml-/rc-car-products/378686 hope thats alright for you
