Pictures speak a thousand words as you can see everything that is included, battery has about an hour on it from new. The remote was second hand so is a bit rough but nothing wrong with it whatsoever. 2 shells 1 for show 1 for bashing fully taped inside to reinforce. all the screws are stainless and allen key heads. Will be going on ebay later tonight link to be provided any questions please ask EBAY - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/281957635949?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 https://gyazo.com/a1b734aaf140204da1cdc448932ae686 https://gyazo.com/8301804d1693699965ccd10ccad91fc4 https://gyazo.com/d991a759e77d80ecf6103c87f83bd247 https://gyazo.com/fb93304405a32b4c3f83a9eb2a94e7b6 https://gyazo.com/f4b708382a0f06ddaf058fe978d392c7 https://gyazo.com/48bf09b9d568418f67f8373bf36decdd https://gyazo.com/0d5e64c3d94a7a8d651326a6007f48ca https://gyazo.com/b1b8501ff14f9fecdffd574191b38062 https://gyazo.com/62c2301e6835372613fcc6acbf240c58 https://gyazo.com/e6598e9e613f4cac3b60348bb3687d66 https://gyazo.com/412a44a9eba17bbb25571fafc8dbcf76 https://gyazo.com/2d1d8bb1d1349fe94382ecbb1ed0cfba https://gyazo.com/460f7a876ec54a097281493fcf524a8b https://gyazo.com/83786e14eb59c948266a77e801a47a6c https://gyazo.com/99454a780b5f15d40cceb32a040b9f05 https://gyazo.com/d4daa890cf21e1dde3eff62e57e9ed68
  4. http://gyazo.com/6409e17e967409353657f6c8a9b03a4c tip it came with I didn't clean the tip before use, and it is dull not shiny. I find the tip too big as well would prefer a smaller one but the genuine weller ones are
  5. Bought a Weller soldering iron and the tip it came with is useless, solder just seems to ball up and drop off. What tips do you guys use that are good for RC applications? Any links appreciated. Thanks.
  6. Anyone recommend some stiffer springs for the Savage XS SS shocks? threaded ally body ones? these are so weak don't even seem to have any spring to them.
  7. been running 2s fine on my XS but recently bought a 3s for a bit more speed. The motor is running hot now but the ESC is still cool. what pinion/spur do you all run on 3s? im running the castle 3800kv and a hobbywing ezrun 120A ESC
  8. Selling full Trophy Truggy suspension arm set, never used spares brand new.
  9. Any stronger replacements for the pins holding the lower arms in place? snapped mine failing a big front flip and landing on 1 wheel
  10. Sorted, wasn't unplugging the ESC from the receiver before plugging into the box using the fan connection.
  11. I've been trying all last night and an hour tonight to get the program box to recognise the ESC is connected to it, but it just won't. I've watched the guides on youtube and read forums but cant see a solution. I'm running "hobbywing v1.08_120504" on the program box and the PC recognises the program box is connected to the PC as it is indicated by a green light. When i flick to the ESC on the PC there is no green light as it is not recognising there is an ESC connected. I'm using the port it says to use to program it - the fan connections and am using the special program lead included. Not sure what to do now. tried using all 3 versions of software available to put onto the program box via the HOBBYWING USB LINK software on the PC and have tried using the fan connector with the special program lead as well as the normal ESC lead that plugs in to the receiver ANY help??? Thanks..
  12. Nice didn't realise these were available, id have a go at making them myself but don't work where I used to do the mods anymore so i can't :\ Need to get myself a milling machine for the shed haha.
  13. Yeah this was still mid-progress, i ended up just getting a pack which included the centre diff setup from the vorza and the mudguards along with a few other spares for cheap so just stuck them on and it worked out fine. I don't see the point in the braces so didn't bother with them. and yeh the top plate was just filed into ovals so they lined up. EDIT: Those little braces didn't stop this from happening when i first got the buggy!!
  14. Yea the driveshafts are all good still, i was gutted when i scratched my big bores on the front for the first time haha, was looking at the vorza front shock tower and it has covers that go over the shocks for protection.. maybe another mod coming!
  15. Hi all, been a while so thought I'd give you an update on what my buggy looks like these days. Haven't really bothered with it at all during the winter months, just been shoved in a corner and forgotten about. Since the weather is picking up now thought I'd spend a bit on the buggy and make it stronger to stop my bashing ending in 1 pack like it did the majority of the times last summer haha. Been replacing trophy parts with more and more Vorza parts for strengthening, my chassis was shot so i bought the 7071 ally chassis that the Vorza uses and fitted that. Had some fun and games with that modding bits here and there to get it to work but turned out pretty well. Bought 4 of the rear Vorza big bore shocks to fit to only fitted 2 on the front for now until the rear trophy shocks give up as I've never really had problems with the rear of the buggy. The main issues i had with it was the ally cups on the front were horrible quality being cast aluminium, so just bought some of the machined ones from Asiatees as they are cheap enough. and adressed the issue of the front shocks always snapping by replacing with the big bores. Took it out for a bash yesterday and made it back without any parts needed which was pretty much a first! PROGRESS I'm happy with how it is at the minute, although the servo is on its way out so gonna need to buy a savox one. Still thinking whether or not to get the 6s setup from the Vorza too but I think I'll keep it on 4S and just buy a Savage Flux for the summer as well!!
  16. You still working on a new thread for trophy buggy/truggy owners?
  17. For what and where? :S Spotted one of those DS1015's on ebay gonna try and get it used.. much better yeah?
  18. That's what i was thinking with it all being trophy parts, I think it was the same when it was on the trophy chassis but got progressively worse. I hadn't ran the buggy until this project for about 2 month as was considering selling when i sold the MT4 and Truggy. Going to keep it now for a bit of fun. What's that Savox servo everyone uses on these again? can't remember, my truggy came with this one on
  19. Front Steering posts on vorza a lot different from the trophy posts, don't know why they are a smaller diameter in the middle section and cant find any info on the actual overall length of them.. i can put 2 flats on the bottoms of the trophy posts to get them to fit in the slots like the Vorza as at the moment I've just got them tightened over the top of the slot. If anyone can find some dimensions for these I'd be grateful
  20. I'm not wanting it for chassis strength I'm wanting it for shock tower strength as I've already had my front shock tower in the vice once or twice straightening it out Any idea what could be causing this? see the right wheel's (left in pic) toe in/out thing has to be wound very far out on the threads for the wheel to point straight whilst the left (right in pic) is still at stock length/threads?
  21. I'll consider it if something breaks but until then no lol. In the near future I'll be getting the Tork/Blur ESC/Motor setup for 6s powerrrrrr Has anyone tried doubling up shock towers on the buggy? thinking of ways to strengthen other than making a brace.
  22. Took a section out of the front Diff post and it now fits Its a really tight fit as you can see I then fitted the driveshafts to see how/if it lined up and they do and that is how it stands for now, when i said the back diff was jamming against the esc it was just me being stupid and a wire was caught between the esc tray/diff cup. It is now all working. Ready for testing now, need the vorza mud/stone guards and it should be finished in theory. easier than I expected up too now. EDIT: just tested it outside and it's all working nicely, although i think my standard servo which has been in since day 1 is starting to show its age and its now pulling to the right a lot so I'm going to need to adjust the front wheel setup
