  2. bump relisted due to time waster
  3. HPI savage XS SS for sale, perfect working order used for roughly 2 hours or less. Selling due to losing interest in the hobby, it has just been sat gathering dust for roughly a year now. Pictures speak a thousand words as you can see everything that is included, battery has about an hour on it from new. The remote was second hand so is a bit rough but nothing wrong with it whatsoever. 2 shells 1 for show 1 for bashing fully taped inside to reinforce. all the screws are stainless and allen key heads. Will be going on ebay later tonight link to be provided any questions please ask EBAY - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/281957635949?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 https://gyazo.com/a1b734aaf140204da1cdc448932ae686 https://gyazo.com/8301804d1693699965ccd10ccad91fc4 https://gyazo.com/d991a759e77d80ecf6103c87f83bd247 https://gyazo.com/fb93304405a32b4c3f83a9eb2a94e7b6 https://gyazo.com/f4b708382a0f06ddaf058fe978d392c7 https://gyazo.com/48bf09b9d568418f67f8373bf36decdd https://gyazo.com/0d5e64c3d94a7a8d651326a6007f48ca https://gyazo.com/b1b8501ff14f9fecdffd574191b38062 https://gyazo.com/62c2301e6835372613fcc6acbf240c58 https://gyazo.com/e6598e9e613f4cac3b60348bb3687d66 https://gyazo.com/412a44a9eba17bbb25571fafc8dbcf76 https://gyazo.com/2d1d8bb1d1349fe94382ecbb1ed0cfba https://gyazo.com/460f7a876ec54a097281493fcf524a8b https://gyazo.com/83786e14eb59c948266a77e801a47a6c https://gyazo.com/99454a780b5f15d40cceb32a040b9f05 https://gyazo.com/d4daa890cf21e1dde3eff62e57e9ed68
  4. http://gyazo.com/6409e17e967409353657f6c8a9b03a4c tip it came with I didn't clean the tip before use, and it is dull not shiny. I find the tip too big as well would prefer a smaller one but the genuine weller ones are
  5. Bought a Weller soldering iron and the tip it came with is useless, solder just seems to ball up and drop off. What tips do you guys use that are good for RC applications? Any links appreciated. Thanks.
  6. Anyone recommend some stiffer springs for the Savage XS SS shocks? threaded ally body ones? these are so weak don't even seem to have any spring to them.
  7. been running 2s fine on my XS but recently bought a 3s for a bit more speed. The motor is running hot now but the ESC is still cool. what pinion/spur do you all run on 3s? im running the castle 3800kv and a hobbywing ezrun 120A ESC
  8. Selling full Trophy Truggy suspension arm set, never used spares brand new.
  9. Any stronger replacements for the pins holding the lower arms in place? snapped mine failing a big front flip and landing on 1 wheel
  10. Sorted, wasn't unplugging the ESC from the receiver before plugging into the box using the fan connection.
  11. I've been trying all last night and an hour tonight to get the program box to recognise the ESC is connected to it, but it just won't. I've watched the guides on youtube and read forums but cant see a solution. I'm running "hobbywing v1.08_120504" on the program box and the PC recognises the program box is connected to the PC as it is indicated by a green light. When i flick to the ESC on the PC there is no green light as it is not recognising there is an ESC connected. I'm using the port it says to use to program it - the fan connections and am using the special program lead included. Not sure what to do now. tried using all 3 versions of software available to put onto the program box via the HOBBYWING USB LINK software on the PC and have tried using the fan connector with the special program lead as well as the normal ESC lead that plugs in to the receiver ANY help??? Thanks..
  12. Nice didn't realise these were available, id have a go at making them myself but don't work where I used to do the mods anymore so i can't :\ Need to get myself a milling machine for the shed haha.
