I've got 2x 3s 5000ma traxxas batteries and both have been left in storage over winter. Both has cell 3 at 0v and wont charge. I also have a 2s 5000 and celll 2 at 0v! What the hell is going on! Tested in 3 traxxas chargers and all show same voltages on last cells. This isnt the first time ive had issues. Had 2x 4s 6400ma and had 2 puffy cells. I like to think that i look after my batteries. I always do a storage charge after use and leave them in a fireproof bag. Maybe traxxas batteries suck i dunno.

yea it was a wire, both in fact. Soldered them back and shorted it out, burned the ****er out. Looks like Ill be buying a new one but not that make, shocking soldering.

Bought one of the power hd ones back in April and it's had little use, anyway today took car out and the servo failed and is completely dead. Bought it from jemodels, do you think I would be able to return it? Surly these things come with warranties

Yep it's not flashing and I can stay in the menu system and come back and it's still at the setting I set but as soon as I return to the main screen where it shows the car name and voltage it reverts back to the original setting

Hi anyone know why this stupid thing won't save certain end point settings or other settings? It's saving the channel 2 breaking percentage but when I set throttle to 75% it won't set it again and even when I set to 82% it goes back to 75 all the damn time! They should have called it crap instead.

Hi I was in the same situation as you about 6 months ago and went with the virus 3 kit, i knew fair well it wasnt meant to be as good as a hyper 7 and finding parts for it wasnt going to be as easy or cheep, but i wanted a kit that was cheep just to get me back into rc nitro cars. The kit came with fairly basic instructions and took me a few days to build, it was fun and I learn loads about the car and as such there would never be a need for me to take it into some shop to get the to fix a part etc. I also went with a hongnor force .28 engine which fits fine but was a pain to tune and bed in, it seams a lot better now. As for problems with the car so far I have had none and only broke things due to my own fault and the one time the reviver failed and sent the car out of control into a post and smashed the front suspension up. The receiver got wet as I was racing it on a very wet football field and it took out the throttle servo which of course stayed on full, I have since fitted some hair bands which retract the carb if that happens again. I don't regret getting the virus 3 its a good car but i wouldn't get the rtr, I would pay more for the hyper 7, You do learn a lot from getting a kit about the car and hobby its self.

yea I got it for some top speed runs in a car park, the clutch is looking low already and I havnt even taken it out yet, it was some cheep one that came with the car, think its carbon or plastic or something.

Ansmann virus. And 18t bell which I haven't tested yet and probably way ott but we shall see, may get a 15t as it was running a 13.

I bought the kit and its a good solid car, the splash proof stuff aint that great though. Trying to get parts for it can be a pain but the virus 2 stuff seams to fit and there is a fair bit of that on ebay. I personally would save up a bit more for a hyper 7, the only reason i got the virus was that i wanted a kit and they dont do a kit for the hyper 7.
