Anyone know of anywhere i can get some decals for a 5ive, not really too fussed which ones although. Just seems excessive 80.00, any suggestions in UK please. Cant find any of RC, Freeprawn,MMR, abbotts. Only the states, the genera Lee one looks interesting, not for $80 and £ 16 shipping though

Just wondering where that space was the gravel area which you did some testing, which had a JJB place in the background i think.

Cheers Hoss, transport not a problem, not managed to get out yet this year and wanted somewhere where i could park close by and give all 4 a run and tweak as you know how temperamental they can be after the winter, starting them up and tickling is one thing but giving them a good run for 30 mins is a different story.
appreciate the info, i'll see if i can escape sunday, need to scratch this itch

if you put a DI phantom on the side stuck to a square plastic plate with wheels could it push it along and steer ? just by using left and right, up and down could pull wheelies !

Hoss, Can you give comparisons to a five though handling etc, Your one of a few that has driven them both, if you had them both at one of your tests, whats your first impressions if you blast them both for 15 mins each. Is one more articulate, more stable, quicker etc. I'd be interested to see an unbiased review in comparing them both, and no excuse that they are different vehicles etc. Really curious to see the plastic 5ive against the metal tank reviewed..... please

after a few years or blasting fives about over hill and dale (and the odd ramp) the construction and faired extremely well. i'm just wondering what the necessity is for all the alloy. Surely if you make a car bomb proof, sort of takes the fun out of stripping and repairing. I agree with all the comments above and can value and respect the opinions of experienced members, personally just find myself wondering if all the alloy bits are really necessary, as power to weight is a critical factor in this hobby.

thought i'd get some comment of the one i've made to be honest lads taken hours. i can take criticism if it looks rubbish, i'm going to wrap the panels in red and black carbon fibre but thinking should i quit now or continue to see how it ends up. has anyone run it with the axle extenders on as it makes it quite a bit wider which should alter the handling, especially drifting about on grass

just trying to watch how it handled with the other RC's, i think one is a five, but then again its the driver which makes a huge difference, if i was driving the V5 and a pro in the five the V5 would look rubbish, but looks to run really well in the video, quite how 'impartial' the review is, i'm unsure. Looks good and like you've all said does act as a good teaser, shame the same guy didnt run a FID at the same track to compare them both, that would have been a really useful review, same pro driver doing a hour with each round the same track.

Thanks Hoss, already follow all the updates on facebook, just had my fair share of scratches bumps and dings when i've left my car in certain places. My issue i'm afraid, just dont know why people get drawn to a veyron ??

still find it strange when i see the comment, spent £ **XX** on this so now i think i can get 80% of my money back. Dont you realise that you've got bob hope and no hope here. A great specimen and good to see but in reality i agree that the 2 k to 2.5 is all he'll get for it as if you bought new at 1 k, theres quite a lot you could buy for 1.5K and have a brand new motor aswell. Part of the RC hobby is building , bashing , crashing and upgrading, what else could you do to it? I bought a 3 piece leather suite spent 3 k on it had it 12 months so want 2750 for it.... reality is that i'll be lucky to get £ 500.00

i got a kodi firestick, hard work, good at first now needs an update, looks overly complicated.showbox on a samsung and screen mirror works for me

Cheer RC fella, i was getting a little concerned that i was to end up with these white panels with a few stickers on. not a 5 minute job. just need to finish the rear bumper and infil panels, but i'll get the wrap ordered.
