  1. Advertised it for sale as it never gets used!
  2. I have decided to sell my as new savage x4.6 as it has been mainly just a shelf queen & has seen hardly any use since it was brought new in December 2012. I have put approx. 5 tanks through it since break in & it still has the box & everything it came with. I am looking for
  3. Thanks all, I was expecting the low offers but not as much as
  4. I am toying with the idea of selling my savage x4.6 as I just don't use it as the trophy get the hammering most of the time. I have put approx. 5 thank through it since the break in was finished & then it has become a shelf queen. I have everything that it came with including the box, it is fully standard apart from an added wheelie bar. So question is what sort of ball park price would I be looking at if I do decide to let it go?
  5. yeah im back in the online world! :-)

  7. Just found a hole in my fuel tubing, reckon this would of intermitantly sucking air with the fuel making the tuning so unpredictable, new tubing fitted so will go test again later. Fingers crossed.
  8. Yes was still bogging down after idling for a while, & when I stoped then went again it did it still.
  9. I was just about to move on to the lsn, glad you said leaning though I was going to make it richer on the bottom end. Will try again tomorrow if the weather plays ball.
  10. Hi Ive just fitted my new tuned pipe & retuned the car which was running great, then all of a sudden the car started to gog down at about a quarter of its rev range. The car pulls of like a bat out of hell, then once at approx 1/4 revs it bogs down really bad, before picking up again & running fine. I was thinking this was a lean problem so richened the hsn but it made little difference. Anyway the weather stoipped play at this point so any pointers will be appreciated.
  11. Come on Mr Postman, wheres my parcel????

  12. Thanks, I know what you mean about the weather, I was just wondering if it threw it out that much that going to stock settings & starting again was in order, seems not. Thanks again
  13. As title really, if i fit a tuned pipe to my trophy will the tuning need altering much? I check tune regular anyway but this just dawned on me this morning that it could make a massive difference.
  14. Would a tuned exhaust make much, if any difference to the performance of my trophy? I know in my days of moto x & 2 stroke bikes in general that a tuned pipe made a huge gain in performance, never tried one in the r/c world though & am very tempted.
  15. It was a cold & icy morning, but fun was had by all.
  16. ive got a set of these, & so far they seem pretty good! http://www.wheelspinmodels.co.uk/i/86272/ too slow
  17. Hi im looking for some good all round hard wearing tyres for my trophy buggy, what is recommended? I run on grass, tarmac & occasionly shale/gravel. I know looking for an all round tyre is a bit like looking for the holy grail, but best there is in this category?
  18. If the plug still glows nicely & you get it running again, just give it a gentle blip on the throttle to clear any excess oil out of the exhaust, that might help you keep it going.
  19. try increasing the throttle trim on your tx to see if you can get it to run with a higher tickover.
  20. After that if still needs adjusting try your servo end point adjustment
  21. I agree with a lot of the comments above, for me nitro is the way to go. Its a miniture of a real car, so to speak, add in the noise & smell its just awesome. To me electric is just a plug & play option, yes they are/ can be amazingly quick but it just doesnt do it for me. Love coming home after a good bash & letting the tinkering begin, for me that is all part of the attraction.
  22. Wow that is a fair old way. Yep, they have them all there on display mate for you to have a good look over. enjoy.
  23. Hi welcome to the forum. I have a trophy buggy & it has taken a fair amount of abuse without fault. As for wheelspin models its my local shop & a great place to look at the different models, the lads in there always give excellent advice as well.
