Yes, running a hump pack and it's fully charged.
As I said, once I loosened the screw a little it now seems to work fine. Not had it actually running yet as it is still p****** down.......
Morning all, finally managed to get round to stripping down my hyper 7.
Given it a good clean and a new chassis, everything put back and seemed to be ok (not actually run it yet).
Just been checking the servo's and the when I brake the 'arm' on top doesn't seem to move. They move fine when accelerating just don't move on braking.
I have loosened the screw a little, that links the arm on servo to the carb and it now seems to work fine. Is this normal for the screw not to be very tight? And won't it eventually work it's way loose?
Cheers, Dan.
Cheers, anthoop.
Yes it was cleaned up, emptied of all fuel and after run oil was added, so all boxes ticked, lol.
Will let you know how I get on, hopefully next weekend if work allows.
'fair weather' RC ers, lol..
Yes it was tuned at the time and ran very well, couldn't tell you what the needles are at though.
I will get it heated up and take it nice and steady for the first tank.
Due to work, family and other commitments I've not had my hyper 7 running since before Christmas!!!
Just wanted to know, when I finally get time to enjoy it again is it ok to just fill her up and go for it (WOT), or do I need to let her idle for a tank, or take it steady for the first tank(half throttle) ?
It has been broken in btw
Cheers, Dan.
As always anthoop, as always, lol...
But as usual what your saying makes sense, the shock tower is perfectly flat but yes it does lean slightly to the back because of the diff housing.
Smoothybb, yes the chassis is slightly raised at the front..
Cheers guys and have a good evening. The 'red' is un corked and starting to flow, lol.
Thanks for the advice, laying everything shouldn't be a problem, bit 'anal' when it comes to things like that...
Bit concerned about 'shims' and 'spacers' though....
