  1. Hi Bud Try Tam PS28 or Tam PS8 it is suited for Lexan
  2. Missed the other question.... Painted all on the inside!
  3. HI Frederik, you are right, the rear window looks wrong if you paint it as per the Rally legends photos. So after hours of masking and cheating the body line I intentionally did the lower masking to make the window trim look right.A real PITA! Still I am satisfied with the outcome, I really nailed it!
  4. I very rarely storage charge my lipo`s as it takes too long to fully charge them on race day, so once I`ve finished my race I just store them like that. I race every 2 weeks so storing partially discharged is not a problem. Learnt the hard way not to store them fully charged! For bashing it might be a good idea to storeage charge them.
  5. Finally got to mask and paint the windows and 1st stripe. Found a replica in S.Aa in S.A. thanks MR Jason Gouws! This will be my inspiration. So here is the progress so far
  6. Here Goes chasis track shortened to fit 5mm offset wheels
  7. I Will try and upload pics this weekend, the RS is very much stll a WIP! The Ford collection is growing.
  8. Who has purchased a RL ford escort clear body? Got mine today and very confused about a few parts on the parts tree. Wipers. mirrors and spotlight brackets are straight forward, but the other goodies got me confused. Anybody that can enlighten me?
  9. Have you looked at the turnigy Trackstar motors? Good bang for your buck!
  10. As far as I know there was never a 200mm mondeo body made, I had 2 190mm mondeo`s and raced them to oblivion, Hmm hindsight..... Wish I kept one
  11. Keep it up Frederik, can`t wait for the end result!
  12. Awesome work! Any updates? Cannot wait for the end result.

If you fitted new plates it won`t do if the diff balls aren`t replaced as well. Also run the battery at the rear and go 2deg camber at the back.
  14. Same Here, usually take out about 2000 mah out of my battery so you could easily run 3 times before charging, just set your lipo cut-of on your esc!
  15. Savox is the best bang for your GBP!
  16. That is Standard Tamiya features Start shimming is your one option, also we used to tie rubber bands behind anything that was connected to a ball cup, and sorry to say this......( not bashing anybody). ... I finally got rid of all the slop by buying another car.
  17. Nice Chassis mate, I would suggest losing all the weights and get the standard lipo brackets. they work very well combined with the velcro strap. I hate taping batteries!
  18. Where do you run this car mate? On ANY other surface than dirt the tires on that chassis is going to be useless! For paved surfaces get some on-road tires. Google is a wonderful thing.....
  19. Solaris 40`s, Ride`s or SP is the best way to go. In RSA we use them as a spec tyre and they last forever! Decent grip but wait..... If it is cold then you need to go for a lower compound eg. 35 or 32`s. Most important clean the tyres after playing/bashing with WD40. the tyres seem to last for at least 15 runs of racing, so for bashing it will seem like forever!
  20. It is common with most cars. Equal shimming does not relate to equal toe at the rear. So you will have to use different shims on either side to get the correct toe angle. Don't know what you mean by putting the rear stands on? Yes the diff will rotate but just sit both stands flat on your setup board and tighten the axle screws.(On mine at least). What setup station did you get?
  21. The racing is just so close! And after 12 years of trying I still get the same kick as when I started. Only downside is the Damn Budget....
  22. Hi HLT any updates on the escort?
  23. Any 4wd touring chassis. But remember.... The faster you go the more severe the impact is. On the other hand.. a 4.5T motor ..... INSANE!
