  1. So after the winter, course hasn't faired too well and still have loads of poly blocks so started a few ideas for an indoor/sectional course that could be setup up and packed away easily. Here's a taster of 1st test bits
  2. Not anymore!! Weather and the winter haven't been kind Working on a similar project for indoors.......
  3. Managed to grab time to do a bit more to the little Landy... LEDs in and wired up struggled to find a decent driver so printed next best thing 🤣 Lights!!
  4. Managed to grab a bit of time each night after work and done a bit of printing and painting... Also moved lights from front bumper into headlights and added 3mm red LEDs fir rear lights Interior Shackles and air intakes Moved jack and rear shackles Ladder Sand ladders Scale bits
  5. 🤣 I'll send you an order form 😂 Great little rig, only had 5 mins on the table course but performed very well
  6. Expensive?......maybe, but looks alone, hell yes! My hobby started mids 80's and didn't have much money growing up. similar as @Gaz! commented ,we used to catch the bus into Sheffield and stare at the Beatties display models for ages. Could never afford to buy any but managed to get a 2nd hand Rough Rider by swapping a bike with a pal and that was it. Tamiya has and always will have a place in my heart and there will be a tamiya model in my collection at all times. This one?... maybe. possibly. probably!!! ....... or a Rough Rider...... or a Super Champ!!
  7. Its a great little truck and good fun, surprisingly capable for its size Batteries last around 20mins (ish) and charge via a USB charger, phone charger or car cigarette lighter to charge One thing is don't leave lipo plugged in to car, even switched off it drains. Took 1 lipo so low it won't charge. Got a couple of extra lipos off ebay pretty cheap
  8. Just finished printing interior, I know it's LHD but will do for now. I'll mirror it in software and reprint when I get chance Get onto exterior bits next 👍
  9. ^^^^ been on order for a while and finally picked up today. Had its big brother for a good while and now scaling a few bits down ready for 3D printing this weekend 🙂 I for one am pleased by the clear windows....!!!
  10. For sale FTX Buzzsaw Extreme tracked vehicle Immaculate and as new condition Comes with box, instructions, lipo, USB charging cable - just needs batteries for remote. 1 week old and only run on carpet for 5mins, never been outside Just decided its not for me Price including fees and postage £65 £55
  11. Wasn't happy with course so dismantled and started again Version 2.0 😀 Plan is to "grass" internal areas.....
  12. Drive them myself occasionally, spend most of my time creating and setting up the GPS machine control now. Like the idea of the pea gravel and vermiculite 🙂 I have the Huina backactor (metal) and used cat litter for digging and loading. Clean for the record!!! Quality is OK.... Not the quality of the metal range Huina do but adequate for what I'm doing. I have seen a few mods to increase traction and make it push better, more of that to come.... So, I've fitted 4 bright white LEDs, 2 on the blade rams and 2 on the roof. 5mm LEDs, heat-shrink for the housing - needs another coat of black I had intended to use the light channel on the remote for the lights but struggled to get it to work well so opted for a switch on the back of the dozer. Not the greatest of projects but does what it needs to, only got it to go on the low-loader!!
  13. Picked a Huina RC dozer up which will be part of a future build. Had a quick play and although not much finesse with regard to controls, looks OK and quite fun. Decided it needed some 'enhancement' so out came the tools Very simple inside, no fancy ESC or Savox servos!! Not going to do too much but hope to add lights, CAT decals and beacons if possible
  14. I like the look of that 👍 Duratrax Deep Woods are worth a look, have them on my Landy
  15. Hi pal, Not sure your budget or specifics but have this gathering dust if any interest?? Price up for discussion 👍
  16. It's polystyrene block used in house building, off cuts on site and thought 'they're just the job' Glued to pallet with no more nails and shaped with a Stanley knife. Topping is tile grout adhesive powder mixed with water, thick for build up, thinner for dressing
  17. Halfway through building a back yard course...
  18. More 3d bits printed - hinges, step/rock sliders, chainsaw and limb risers. That's it all done ✔️
