    if you want to you can get a lipo instead of a nimh but there is no saftey cut-out on brushed esc so you have to keep an eye on the voltage of the pack

    hi i am starting my new project the the shumacher mi1 speed project i have got the car,body,lipo's,esc,motor,and foam tyres the motor and esc is castle and will probably burn up the first time i use it so will be upgrading the esc and motor next year to a xerun 150a esc and a 3200kv toro brushless motor This is going to be a fun project!!!!!

    nano_techs are the best lipo's to go for as they are cheap and out preform some of the more expensive brands

    higher kv= more speed lower kv=more torque

    the savage xs would be faster as its light and has a higher kv motor but it depends on how you gear the cars

    do you think it is better to use 5.5mm bullet connectors on a castle 1406 5700kv motor than the 4mm ones

    i'll be posting pics of what going on atm and when i get the esc and more parts i'll post pics of them and when the weather is getting warm again i'll post a vid and the esc will fit in the chassis just held down with cable ties

    the esc isnt going in the touring car chassis it need to save up the money so the esc will be going in a 1/10th hbx rocket chassis
