  1. Hi Please see pic below, I'm looking for a spacer to drop into the gap highlighted with the crapply drawn yellow arrow. My motor extends into my battery bay so need to pull it back a little. Anybody know where I can get them from and what there called please? I have seen a link on the forum somewhere but cant find it for the life of me. Thanks
  2. Still enjoying it, really is great fun, me and my boy take it out as often as we can, been getting lots of interest from curious people wondering how it can go so fast Even had a chase by a pack of dogs:)
  3. Nice build mate, looking forward to see the rest.
  4. Picture taken after a quick 20 drive in the cold UK winter snow. http://www.msuk-forum.co.uk/gallery/image/19767-/
  5. I run one of these in my x8e on 4s, brilliant Motor.
  6. Awesome thanks for posting this, I'll get one ordered and fit my battery properly
  7. Ah right I see the packs are thicker, thats good to know. Problem I had was the spindle on the motor I purchased sticks out to much and actually sits over the top of the battery compartment. I had to push the battery back slightly. All good though.
  8. Fatboy, can you confirm are the 3s LiPo's longer or wider when compared to a 2s ?
  9. Not sure to be honest mate, this is my first encounter with lipo's. I assumed 3s were longer than 2s and as such you would struggle getting those in. Like I say I don't know, never had any experience with 3s.
  10. Do it bud Those Turnigy's I bought are only 2s packs though.. http://www.hobbyking..._Lipo_Pack.html
  11. Nice build mate, I'm so glad I went for this kit instead. I was going to do the build blog but was to excited lol. My X8e Build Gallery can be seen here, although you already know that I've dropped in a XERUN 150A ESC in mine, coupled with the Sirius 1512 (2650) motor and dual Turnigy 65c 6600MAh Lipo's this car is a killer.
  12. Managed to get another 20 mins run time in today, I can certainly confirm the performance of this car is very impressive. Coming from a Nitro background I was sceptical but the power really is amazing. Had about 30 mins total running so far and havn't had to charge the batteries anymore, which is also impressive Would certainly recommend this setup to anybody.
  13. Loving it mate, really nice finish.
  14. Yes the wiring is a mess, really need to sort that. Everything I bought seem to come up with long cables The paint I used was Tamiya Color Translucent Red Polycarbonate (PS-37), used it before love the finish it gives. .A.J. yes well spotted it is an Xerun SCT Pro. Hating the crap british weather, as soon as it stops raining I'll put in some runs and see if I can create some videos.
