Just been out playing and have no sort of killswitch, i turned Tx off and it kept running Enjoyed it though, shame i rolled it every turn, had an audience of 4 people come out of buildings to watch

Can anyone recommend a decent TX and RX combo? This one seemed to work ok for the guy i bought it from, but it does look a little old

what i'm getting at is people seem to do 50mph in the 40mph, then get onto national speed limit roads and i catch them up again as they still doing 50mph

I can vouch for dodgy speedos, i do 40mph in 40mph zones and the car in front is pulling away from me and the car behind gains on me and before i know it, we are driving in convoy. I reckon 50mph on my speedo is 40mph, judging by other peoples driving. Can't wait to have my corrado back and stick it to them

Picked up a 2nd hand Marder yesterday and want to make sure i have some kind of killswitch. The chap i bought it from said it have something that killed the engine if it lost signal or the batteries died. Here are some photos of the TX that came with it

I tend not to worry, make hardly any difference to insurance costs, (when you spread it over a year) and the fines are pretty small. I'm not saying go around speeding everywhere, but i believe there's no point getting stressed over it, you probably spend way more money on hobbies

Just reading up on your router and it says something about pushing the dome button, i've come across routers that require you to press some sort of pairing button "Push 'N' Connect (WPS). The dome acts as a push-button for the router to enable WPS security with other WPS-enabled devices. Pushing on the dome for over 5 seconds opens a 2- minute window for the router to connect with other WPS-enabled devices."

I had loads of trouble setting mine up, easiest way was to place it in a zone called DMZ (not sure how well you know the router settings) You have to make sure your xbox has a static ip that matches the one you set in DMZ. Thats what i do and never had any hackers etc

Are you meant to lock front and rear diffs for drifting, i only did my rear.

Hi all, dug out my old TL01 and been buying some bits for it, just ordered the different pinion gears for it. Am i right in thinking if i change the 19t one and put a 23t one in its place the car will be faster top speed but less on acceleration? Got it out recently (bought it in 2002/2003) Got some new wheels Stickered it up Noticed my chassis is cracked so ordered new one of them, just fitted the adjustable tie rods, got some drift tyres coming, think i will buy a spare diff to lock up and try out some drifting. It has a 17t double wound brushed motor and no limit esc

I think its something i want to try, i will look out for a cheap maybe broken savage on ebay. Asked somewhere else and a chap offered me his marder race instead, i know its not electric but seems a good price and something i want to try

Hi, am totally new to large scale rc and petrol, in fact i don't know much about the hobby at all. Bought a TL01 about 10yrs ago and bashed it around car parks etc. Think i enjoy fixing it more than using it Been offered a FG Marder Race, tbh yesterday was the first time i've ever heard about them, or the bajas etc (been doing lots of googling and think i want the Marder) Just wondering what to look out for? I think its an old model, were the race versions all the same? Am i correct in saying it will be a 26cc motor? I need to know everything really from looking after it to rebuilding it. Wouldn't mind finding some local people with good knowledge of them or a local club where i can use it.

Hi all Does the flux conversion kit turn any savage into the Flux? Surely there is more to the flux? Fancy building one as a little project, but thinking i might buy a cheap savage of any kind and convert it. Is there a better savage to convert with the kit?
