Needs collecting so will offer it for free. Everything in photo Some mixed fuel and oil in one of the mixing bottles, and the OptiProtect oil is nearly full, can just see the level around top of the label in the first pic. Had this when i owned a Marder, but no longer have one so it surplus to requirements. My postcode is CM6 2LX

I have a nearly new HS-805MG made by Hitec, was going to put it on ebay soon, also have the same one but with the plastic spindle/gear bit on top, but the splined bit has snapped off, could be repaired though. Let me know if your interested

Nah, its my only engine, have decided to split the whole car so will be selling everything. Thanks for advice. Air filter is an FG one as i remember replacing it, also have a spare filter.

Have got this to sell, its from a FG marder. I know a bit about these but not 100% sure what parts i have and what its worth or whether to sell on here or ebay it. Is this list/spec correct: -26cc engine (is that a zenoah) -Standard exhaust -Gears? (are these specific to a marder? Should i take them off?) I thought the guy i bought it from mentioned he had upgraded something to do with gears? -Air filter -Walbro Carb (do i need to list a model number etc?) -Pullstart -Alloy engine mount (think this is correct, again the seller told me this, i presume its the bit underneath) Anything else i should note? ]

Was fitted to my marder. Hardly used and in perfect working order. Comes with buzzer, blue led, and an on/off switch. Plus original paperwork etc.

I screwed both screws in fully, then undid them by 1.25-1.5 turns, then have tried adjusting the L screw forwards in small bits and also backwards, can't seem to make a difference, although i can hear the engine change sound as i adjust the screw each way, so its doing something. Not really played with the H screw.

I keep trying to tune the carb, have been back and forth with the setting and still can't sort it. Would i be daft to take it to a local hobbystores and asking them to fix it?

Its a standard marder race engine, 26cc, thats all i know. Its been doing the problem for ages, put it away for a few months and it still does it. Will get a video for sure, seems the best way to describe it.

Or anyone local to CM6 postcode that may be able to help?

Had the Marder out at the weekend as i want to sell it. I still can't get it to accelerate properly. Sort of works if i build the revs up slowly, but most of the time it makes a funny bogging down noise, like a deep "burrrrrr" sound. Not sure what to try, am ordering some new plugs incase they are old and past it. Could it be a problem with the engine, shall i try and get a video. Its all in great condition apart from this annoying problem and i'd rather sell it working 100%

I have a marder that i want to get out and use, mainly want to make sure its running right, then i plan to sell it. Finally have my real car sorted out and on the road, so i would be up for coming along if its still ok etc, or finding another local spot we could all use.

Driveshaft, there are two types as well, a ball type and the type with slits like posted above. There are some non-genuine ones for sale on ebay, i bought a set and they wouldn't even turn properly.

As long as it's 1:10th scale grass you should be fine.

I will get it out and get some pics, thinking i will sell it RTR, as i don't even know all the names of parts so will take me ages to sort, list and post.

They fit on the car all ok, but won't turn properly, they lock up in certain directions
