  1. Just took the spark plug out, was a bit black, changed it anyway but still not tested engine out Was a little bit of oil around head gasket area but couldn't tell if it had come from inside the engine, wiped it clean and will keep it next time. Going to check breather now...
  2. Finally had a decent run with my Marder and all went really well, except when i slowed down to a stop, the engine cuts out and won't restart. Kept pulling the pull start and engine sounded like it was about to start but cut out straight away, the only way i could get it to run again was to try and hold the throttle on whilst starting it, which didn't go well
  3. I just started using this set on my marder and everything was going too far, had to reduce the steering and throttle back to 80% on the EPA. Am sure it goes past 100% though have you tried that?

  8. Hi all Just got my new Transmitter set and was going to fit it and noticed the manual for the Rx says 4.8v for the battery Checked my battery and it 5no 1.2v, so i make that 6v Didn't want to risk ruining anything so stopped there Do i need to buy a new battery pack as well?

  15. Just ordered the Core RC 3 Channel stick one and the Killer super bee with buzzer and LED, ended up spending a bit more than i had planned to but should be worth it.
  16. Fixed it for now with zip ties. Yay. Lost the metal spacer though.
  17. It's just the thread on the top of hub. Fixed it for now but will do it properly. Going to order a radio set and some other bits. Quickly adds up. Liking it though.

  21. Just wondering what i should be doing after each use of my Marder. Its getting really muddy each use. I plan to buy a few bits for it, like oils and cleaning stuff, is there a basic guide of what i should be doing? What's after-run oil?

One thing i do want is a stick handset, don't even know how those wheel ones work and never used one.
