  1. I have some spares ones, i meant to replace mine and ordered two packs instead of two screws. PM me your address and i will post them out if you want
  2. I still plan to come over to the cambridge meet, i have all my stuff in order now so free to do as i please instead of working on something. Does anyone who goes know much about tuning/setting up a petrol 2stroke?, as i'm never quite sure mine is how it should be.
  3. I bought some not long ago, my marder came with some oil but that stuff you posted is the first i've bought. Smells weird when the cars running, almost perfumed. Apart from that i can't really comment on whether its good or bad
  4. Well that went well, put a new plug in and it started on the 2nd pull, thanks. Although i literally drove out the garage, up the drive and on way back down hit the wheel off my real car and broke a rear wishbone on the marder typical. That was the spark plug i pulled out, had a jet black hard layer over it all, it washed off with white spirits, could my engine be running too rich still? Seems a bit smokey on acceleration.
  5. Going to try now, luckily the chap i bought it from gave me 5 new plugs and i got some new filters
  6. Not used it for about 1 month, last time i used it i mixed up some new fuel for it, run it around a bit and it all worked fine. Then i brought it into garage and revved it with wheels off the ground and shortly after that it conked out. So i put it away. I can't start it now and not very clued up on what to do.
  7. I found freepawnracing quite good for fg parts.
  8. After watching some YouTube videos I notice my marder doesn't pull away as fast. If I try to give it lots of throttle it bogs down. I have to ease the power on to get flat out. On YouTube people seem to pull away flat out and can wheelie or wheelspin Also when driving along. If I try to floor it. It will bog down a bit.
  9. I found some rolling chassis on ebay and turned my tl01 touring car into a monster truck Didn't know you could get the extended arms and driveshafts. Seems a bit slow now though
  10. Put some rally tyres and skyline wheels on my TL01, also put the normal diff in rather than locked and drift tyres Seems quite pathetic now i have the Marder
  11. i'm not interested anymore, bought one off ebay instead
  12. I've been in there quite a few times, but usually each visit is years apart. I thought it was a decent place when i last went, chap seemed very talkative and helpful, sorted me out a battery, connectors and soldering iron and was all a decent price
  13. I plan to bring my Marder and TL01, just sorting out my real car before i can drive it. Not sure whether to bring TL01 in drift spec or with the rally wheels and normal diff.

    Dodgy bearings?

No. Didn't grease them. Just fitted them. How do you grease them?
  15. I fitted new bearings to the hub on my FG Marder, took it out once, literally 15mins run, it was quite muddy and wet, but nothing too bad. When i got it home i noticed one of the front wheels wouldn't freewheel, replaced one of the two bearings and its ok again. Is this just a dodgy bearing? I noticed i ordered genuine FG ones but the ones that turned up weren't the FG ones. They had a plastic bit on them instead of metal. I also looked on the website and it seems the 4no bearings i got sent were also on the site for sale as well but half the price of FG ones? I could've bought 8 of these cheaper ones for the price of 4 of the others
  16. I bought a car i've always wanted, was 6yrs ago, before that i'd never changed a brake pad. Taking a wheel off was the most adventurous i got. Just spent the last 18 months pretty much rebuilding most of the car. I just got stuck in and bought tools as i needed them. Just one of the jobs i did would've cost me about
  17. Just checked.....31yrs !!!!! I really don't know how this happened, was young 20's when i last checked
  18. I only own half of it really., Bought it with a friend as a bit of a project, its actually quite easy to work on as everything is so big and there's loads of space
  19. Here it is with the corrado. Its currently like this though (has been for a while) Fitting a diesel engine, power steering, new gearbox and its now got unimog wheels/tyres

Do they still sell the parts for these? Found about 3 of them in a box from years ago. Although i seem to remember they were a bit crap, like a remote control matchbox car
  22. Well been out again and turned the idle speed screw about 2-3 times before it made any difference to the engine note, then it revved a bit higher which seemed to sort it out. Although it did cut out whilst driving and suspect i have a dodgy wire somewhere as i wiggled the on/off switch wires which turned car off and on again. Then, after that was temp fixed. I did a fast run and it started bogging down on acceleration afterwards. Got it back and noticed the exhausts bolts were finger tight and could see oil had blow out the gap. So i gave up and just went home. Hoping i just need to tighten the bolts, although i did see a bit of oil back again headgasket area, it was a very light grey oil, might check the headbolt torques
