  1. Good. Same thing happened to me. A beadlock screw worked also.
  2. I got the flux version a couple of years ago and did have a few problems with breaking. I got edit rear hubs, hpi big bore shocks, screw kit that didnt rust and snap, nands tires, hitec servo, rubber sealed bearings, more flexible spoiler, and a few more bits. These stopped most of my problems but the chassis is still a weak point. But I can go out find some jumps and run 8 packs through my trophy buggy flux without breaking. Every so often I might break something but I bash pretty hard and usually have some spares around. Once you get a few problems sorted you will be verry happy. Good luck and keep us posted
  3. i dont mind it its brushless or not because i got a few motors and esc around and am willing to swap them out.
  4. Hey to all. I'm looking for a Christmas rc and cant decide on what to get. I got 350 to spend and am looking for something off-road. I'm open to any platform other than crawlers. Thanks guys
  5. Yes I say its well worth it. I have the same version 3 years ago and its still going strong
  6. Hpi trophy buggy flux all the way
  7. Hey mate. Love your baja. Makes me feel like going out to the shed and doing a rebuild. Mines got a serious amount of mileage being 3 years old. Keep up the good work and keep the pics coming
  8. The edit rc rear hubs are good. I have them on my trophy buggy and my mate has them on his vorza and they hold up great. No breakages
  9. Thanks. That makes a lot of sense. I never thought of it that way.
  10. Hey all. Im just wondering why my lipos when fully charged only have 3350mah in them when it a 4000mah lipo. There 2 and a half years old with a lot charges through them
  11. Here here. As above try the owners thread
  12. Very easy to do. Just do it correctly and make sure everything seats properly. It will make your motor last a lot longer and you might see a very small increase depending on how gunked up it is. Well worth it.
  13. Waiting on rear big bores for my buggy flux. I hope the arrive. My buggy looks a bit odd with massive big bores up front and skinny small ones on the rear.
  14. Big bore shocks for my buggy and new charger
  15. Fitted hpi/hb big bores onto my trophy buggy flux. Just the front ones. The rears should be here tomorrow. Got my new charger and changed 6 lipo's so i can get an early bash in tomorrow. Hopefully.
  16. I used use the fusion lx41b pro charger. It charges up to 14.8v at 4amps. Iv just picked up the fusion esylum because my ethos just died. It did have 3 years of work done so it didnt owe me anything. The esylum will me charge up to 22.2v at a faster amp. So id look at both the fusion and esylum. There both great but for me the esylum has better features for me.
  17. I have trophy buggy flux that i just rebuilt tonight. Its a great buggy. Very tough and takes a beating. Needs a small bit of work to make it that bit better. The rear hubs are a weak point so i but on edit rc hubs. The screws are weak so i got a new simply rc screaw kit. There are a few other little thing that need work but i wont bore you with the details. Overall it easy to work on and worth the money.
  18. Trophy buggy flux or vorza. Both hpi and both high quality. Im also a hpi fan.
  19. Well the screw also keeps the oil in the diff. Along with allowing you to remove the pin in the inside. Your oild will leek out if you dont put it in.
  20. Hey all. I have got some hpi bigbores in my basket and was wondering what shock oil ye would recommend. Ill be putting them on my trophy buggy flux. Im 100% basher and love my jumps.
  21. Mate you got lucky there. Well kinda. Hitting the pole wasnt lucky but you got very little damage compared to what i was expecting. Id go for stock. Save yourself some money. Id go the upgrade if you were expecting to hit the pole again or have a serious accident again. There a tough rc. Good luck.
  22. fitted a new spoiler mount to my trophy buggy flux after doing about 20 twenty cartwheels down a hill. then spent the rest of my evening looking for some big bore shocks for the trophy. Has anyone any ideas. I don't mind paying 100
  23. Hey all i have a fusion ethos lx41b pro charger for about 3 years. On my last time using it it charged my lipos perfectly. Now its just not working correctly. It beeps when i turn it on and says low batt voltage when there is nothing plugged into it. When i connect up my lipos it says low batt voltage but my batteries charge perfect on my friends charger and they do not have low voltage. There perfect. When i charge my nimh in my baja it sqys dont chare it says dont charge lix. Whatever that means. Nothing works and it keeps beeping for no reason. Do i need to start looking for a new one
  24. Thats what i did with my badlands. I just turned them inside out and made sure everything lines up. It can be a bit hard to do depending on how hard the tires are.
  25. Ya mate. That loiks pretty cooked to me. The carb may have been a bit lean and damaged the topend. Id open up the crankcase and have a look at the bearings and do a general clean up of the bottom end. Id have a look at some headkits. Im sure somebody on here will be able to give you some more reasons as to why it may have happened but id definately invest in a new topend. Good luck
