  1. The Cov club that used to be in Baginton are now in Rugby. Apparently its a big set up, but I'm not sure about the 1/5. Might be worth asking.
  2. Hi Peggy, I'm in Banbury and also looking. There seems to be a shortage of R/C enthusiasts around here.
  3. In my humble opinion, Hong Nor are built like tanks and bloody reliable. I own an Ultra LX1 and it's bomb proof. Parts are harder to get, as they mostly come from America. Research Ofna, Nitrohouse, and Integy for parts before buying. Also, some Hyper parts are suitable replacements.
  4. I used to have the same problem, but I cured it with some ptf tape. If you look down at the engine, the screw on the left will be too loose and that's why you lose the tune. Just unscrew it and wrap a small amount of ptf tape around it and replace. I never had a problem after that
  5. Hi mate, and welcome. If I'm right, the Coventry lads meet at Cosford Lane in Rugby these days. They built a new track there.
  6. I had the Fusion 28 and that was mental. Good cars though, and parts are available from Schumacher.
  7. Thanks pal. That'll really help me out.
  8. Hi guys. I have a question. I picked up an inferno neo recently and the settings are way off. Can't find them on the net, so asking you for help. It's the ke21 engine. Here's hoping. Cheers
  9. I had a problem with my mid range too. Stopped it moving by using a bit of ptf tape on the thread
  10. Schumacher made some excellent Nitro. You can still buy the Fusion 28 Turbo. That'll scare the **** out of most people lol. But sadly that's the only one they do now. You can get the spares for old models too. Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk
  11. This is my Hyper7 Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk
  12. Interesting thread. I have a swift which I picked up for virtually nothing. I have changed the engine as the one it had was pants. Got to admit it's a pretty tough buggy.
  13. Will change the exhaust but not yet. It's a Swift with the Fusion engine in. Goes like a bullet
  14. Been working on this for a little while now and quite pleased as it's my first one. Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk
  15. Look at Hong Nor they're very good and built like a tank
  16. Mixture of buggies. Hyper Hong Nor Ansmann Schumacher Kyosho. All nitro and a 1/10 Schumacher Riot
  17. Is there anyone in the Daventry area who goes bashing? Just moved here and looking for somewhere close.
  18. Well this is an ultra lx1 and I have to say there's definitely similarities
  19. 'That's ok mate. It made me look properly to confirm what it was lol. When I got it, there were 2 buggies and I instantly knew what the other was,but the H/N was one I'd not seen before. Anyway I'm over the moon with both of them. Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk
  20. That's what I thought but I started to doubt myself when he asked if it was the lx2 lol. How is the home made body looking? Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk
  21. Got all mine running at last. Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk
  22. Cheers Tom. Frostic it came with that colour when I bought it. To be perfectly honest I'm not 100% sure what it is lol. I thought it was the ultra lx1. It wasn't working when I got it but it's purring now. The power block is an hpi 3.5 big block . Spent quite a lot of time on it though. Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk
  23. I've got one too and think it's ok. Mine is standard so to speak and will be upgraded at a later date. Goes well though with the 2.5 in it. No slouch by any means Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk
  24. Well now, I'm feeling a bit lonely as mine is a nitro model lol. It's old but I love this buggy. Only problem is where is the best place for a shell? I've been browsing but not really found one yet Anyway here are a couple of pics Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk
