I changed my spur to the 46 after the first run as I thought my Xmaxx was sluggish and I've only reached 44mph so far, but I could do with some fresh lipo's to be honest.

This was so loud I couldn't hold my phone straight!

I thought my Xmaxx was a bit sluggish even on 8s but every time I use it now it seems to be getting better and better! I have the Bluetooth module/GPS set up installed together with the Traxxas app so no need for a temperature gun, I can set a temperature limit as well via the app on my phone. Highest temp so far has been 133f ( I think the 'danger zone' is over 200f for the VLX8S ), fastest speed was 44mph with the fast spur fitted. Love the way the stock suspension works but haven't had a chance to do any big jumps yet, will upgrade when anything breaks. All stock V2, only front T-Bone bumper fitted. Yes I had a ransom note for £24! I've also got the under chassis guard but I haven't fitted it as I really don't think it is needed.
