i would search the diamiter of the hole that the carb slots into and check other carb sizes to see if it fits.. why would you want to change the carb? it's fast as it is with the 3speed gearbox (if you own the savvy xl)

Hi, I was cleaning my chrome pipe with a kitchen sponge and now the chrome has slightly faded away and has lots of very light scratches. any suggestions on how i can get it back to the nice shiny chrome finish?

i've heard that the tlr 22 is a nice 2wd buggy, you can get parts pretty much anywhere as its a tlr kit as most model shops stock up on tlr kits i race 1/8 but i was thinking of going into 1/10 aswell at one point

i am currently racing with a dx4s and was thinking of getting a dx4r pro until i saw the absima at my local hobby shop. can you guys tell me pro's, con's about them both. anything would help

I got into racing as well and i'm loving it. Can i just say i am running the same engine, servos and design bodyshell that you did (my colour schemes flo pink and met blue). it felt a bit weird when i was looking at forum. i didn't copy you as i built and was racing from beginning of November of this year.

i have done everything, from the build to breaking-in the engine.. i have installed savox high voltage 1268SG for steering and throttle/brake with a alpha club racer engine which was a pain in the b... to start up for the first time. i will upload pics soon of it.

i have the same problem but solved it.. firstly unscrew the engine from the chassis and put your engine a side for a moment. Align the starter box wheel with the flywheel slot on the chassis. After you adjusted the chassis mount screw or whatever you call them, put the chassis on the starter box, with the starter box switched off and press down on the chassis as if you are going to start your engine and try turn the starter box rubber wheel with your finger if you can't turn the rubber wheel keep trying but lift the chassis up, this should result in the starter box wheel being free. this means you have to get a file and file down the chassis to the desire size that your starter box wheel can spin freely while the chassis is being firmly pressed down on the starter box wheel. then put your engine back in and enjoy

After putting it in the carb.. I turned the engine over a few times. Should I just run the engine very rich with high revvs?

hi.. i had run my racing engine for the first time. did 5 tanks and then put 6 drops of airfilter oil in the carb thinking it was after run oil. what should i do as it is still a new engine?? any advise would help

well mine is 4000Kv but still, it gets quite hot and quickly. i am going to see what readings i would get on a temp. gun

Hey guys, I just want to know a few things. First of all this is my very first kit form, rc car. I will be using my DX4s with this car. What I want to know is which servos to put in it. On my m8 I have the traxxas velineon motor with vxl-3m esc. My gearing is 58 (i think) with a 19tooth pinion. My acceleration is nice but my top speed Too fast

ahaha.. same with mine but i am running the traxxas velineon motor and esc. i find it a-bit slow but to my friends 'it's the fastest thing they have seen' i have a big problem with my losi mini 8ight, my wheels keep breaking

hey guys, i made this new topic because i was wondering what are the best motors and esc's out there for the m8. i have nearly got all the losi upgrades and have already burnt out my hk 35a esc. its time for my m8 to have a new motor and esc. i was thinking of putting a traxxas velineon motor but not sure of the esc.

hey guess. i really like how my losi mini 8ight is handling but after i had that problem i haven't driven it since. i am thinking of putting a new motor but there are so many out there. any suggestions. i want something with a bit more power. update: bought a body shell and just thinking of what i should do with it? any suggestions.

hobbyking is a great place and i had got my lipos from there and i haven't had a problem with them or there service.

well, i have learn how to fly with a blade mcpx, no sim work lol.
