  1. Nice one mate, youll love nitro, oo the smell and sound, i miss it ! (due to radio trouble) Has it already been ran in yet ?
  2. Hehehe thats what i was thinking when i read the topic.
  3. 1. As midi explained (in a long way lol) it adjusts how much movement the servos have when you steer. 2. I think (Dont quote me on this) the slider is for moving the trigger so it gives more control over throttle but less movement for brakes. 3. Thats just a cover over where a 3rd channel button would be, as it only has 2 channels they just stick a sticker over it to cover it up.
  4. heli fuel has more oil content im sure as they rev high and constant. I dont think it will damage the engine due to the lubrication but i wouldnt advise using it any more ...
  5. The LSN, turn it clockwise in 1/8th incremets. DONT turn it too much though just enough to stop it bogging down at base settings. I'd say no more then 3 or 4 1/8th turns. Tuning is always done HSN first then LSN (and adjust idle) but you dont need to worry about that till your broke in and the clutch problem is sorted.
  6. Nice one bud, lemmie know how ya get on with it ! Hey at least now i can tell the Mrs i know someone older than me who has an Nitro RC

  8. Thats your base/default settings mate. Do that then at least your back to somewhere you know is correct.
  9. Sounds to me like youve not installed the clutch shoes properly, the clutch is engaging by the sounds of it which is why it wants to creep forward all the time. If i were you, i'd take the clutch bell off and just make sure that the shoes and springs are on and held towards the inside. You should be able to spin the clutch bell freely without it trying to move the engine (engine off of course) once youve done that, reset the needles back to defaults as it seems you've messed with the needles enough to knock it out of tune.
  10. I stand corrected ! lol time to chop up an old bodyshell
  11. Not very aerodynamic though, so if yer into racing, its not gonna be the best idea. Decent for bashing though, looks alright too !
  12. Creamsodauk has given the best advice so far so try that, its perfectly normal for it to cut out when your engine is set for break in. Dont go messing about with both the needles or youll end up in a hell of a lot of tuning problems !! YES you tune the HSN first when its time to tune the engine but its not time to tune it just yet so dont go adjusting the HSN for now. Whats needed is for the LSN to be "Tweaked" to allow the engine more air, like someone has already said though, just slight amounts, one to three turns (in 1/8th increments) to the LSN. This will let your engine pull away better, but still expect stalls etc as its running over the top rich for the break in ! Another point (as mentioned above) The engine needs to be warm (ish) in order for it to work right, so let it heat up a bit, even heat it up before with a hairdryer etc.
  13. read this thread and follow the 10 steps http://www.msuk-forum.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=8638
  14. Steady ! he's talking about running it in get it manky once you've ran it in. Yeah take it there to do the run in procedure, dont be tempted to see how fast it will go though untill your break in is done.
  15. One end of the failsafe plugs into the throttle servo channel, so unplug the throttle servo and plug it into the failsafe, then plug the failsafe into the Rx. Turn it all on, put the brakes on with your Tx and then press the button on the failsafe.
  16. Cheers mate, never thought to try BMM. 17.99 ! Eek
  17. I would a rather get a Spekky but i value my balls too much ! If my mrs found the reciept for a spektrum i doubt if my balls would survive, if she found the reciept for the Acoms set, i could at least compare the price to that of her latest shoping trip !!
  18. I think were all missing one very import thing here ... Ziggy has a car ... and is road legal !!!! HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good job I stay in scotland lol ! Naa seriously ... nice 1 ziggy well done.
  19. Theres a few guides about running it in, in the General Nitro section but, i would advise that you do the run in procedure on tarmac. Dead end road etc remember the break in procedure is designed to bed your engine in, if you dont do it properly you'll reduce the life of your engine.
  20. That all depends on what your gonna be using it for ! Are you gonna race ? if so get the .21, if not go for the .28
  21. Hi folks, i cant seem to find a pullstart for My revo, does anyone know a compatible one ? Cant be doing with the EZ start system anymore lol
  22. Lol god knows how ya could fit a hump pack in there too ! You can use a hump pack with the Hyper, theres two braces, one for the 4xaa pack which will also allow you to put the hump pack in (with a zip tie to hold it in place) and you also get a stick pack brace for ... stick packs lol
