This project looks ideal, and seems okay for my level as i could make this probably without problem as long as the electronics aren't hard to programme. that is my only worry that it isn't balanced or stable in flight and then i cannot adjust it somehow. anyone know how this would be overcome? tamiya cowboy: some great advice, thank you and yes FS is awesome. I dont really know how to programme or build some of the elctronics myself however so you have lost me slightly on some of that technical stuff and abbreviations.

Hey everyone, long time since i have been on here but my hobby of RC has never gone away and now i'm looking to possibly move from cars to heli's. Now at university i am well into another obsession called formula student and what we'd really like to do is put our GoPro on a copter so we can get some aerial shots of our car moving for publicity etc. So it seems a good excuse to start flying a heli like I have wanted for so long. What we need is a stable platform for good video shots, but that isn't too hard to fly as I haven't flown a lot of heli's yet although i'm willing to try until i can. I was thinking that maybe building our own would be cheaper as we can make the frame and some parts ourselves, or would this not be the case, this is all open to suggestion obviously. So first of all, is there a place where i can buy all the electronics to put together, and in that what exactly will i need as i understand how the motors, servo's etc work but the control board, gyros, etc are all a bit new to me. So fire away guys!

Hmm well i have posted a topic on here. click here just refresh that and see what people say. Otherwise i'm non the wiser. it has slick tyres but you may need to buy proper drift tyres and maybe a different esc i don't know.

I have an Xray T2'007 Touring car. All runs alright and i have used it for racing. Question is... can i convert this to a drifter? and if so what would i need?. cheers all.
