  1. I guess I should have known better that when I got my Kraton EXB last month, my son, who currently has the Mad Bull, would be jealous as he's not able to keep up with me. And he had a proper moan! 😂 Especially with the 2WD on this Mad Bull. Following from some research and also asking here, I narrowed down to the Maverick Quantum MT Flux which I have ordered today, along with 2 x Overlander Sport Track 4000mAh 3S 11.1v 50C LiPo batteries. Bonus is that it comes with a wheelie bar so he will learn how to do some wheelie as well. 👍 I'll update this post when I get it with photos. Anyone else here is also an owner of Maverick Quantum MT Flux?
  2. Have a look at this section for locations near to you. https://www.msuk-forum.co.uk/forums/forum/13-bashing-and-meetups/ Like you, I can't wait to do some RC fun once this lockdown goes away. 👍
  3. Our Tamiya Mad Bull is 2WD and my son complains of having lack of control. He is right. I liked the Big Rock too, but out of the price range, One day....
  4. Have a look at the bashing & Meetup section https://www.msuk-forum.co.uk/forums/forum/13-bashing-and-meetups/ Please be aware that you can't go out with your RC during this lockdown as Recreation is banned during this National Lockdown. And welcome to this forum! What have you got?
  5. I had the same problem and I resolved it using the programming card. You need to ensure that you picked Option 2 for Item 1 (Running Mode)
  6. Welcome to this forum - good choice on the EXB, I have one and loving it! (see my build log on my sig)
  7. I did look at FTX and had owned one a few years ago - I didn't like how it broke easily. Anyway, I have went ahead and ordered the Maverick Quantum MT Flux (this came with wheelie bar too) plus batteries. This also have some decent upgrade options too. Thanks, all.
  8. Ohh, now that looks better, and it's deans connector, the same as my existing batteries for the Mad Bull he currently have. makes things easier. Plus it's a bit cheaper, which means I can afford to add another battery. Parts stock seems decent, so I think this might be my best route. Thanks!
  9. Then they are not a "true" Hobby shop - they cares what sells quicker and easier to give support. A true hobby shop will work with you to meet your needs, not their thoughts.
  10. I did see it yeah, thanks. But it has wayyyy more parts that can be broken, for example, it has 4 shocks per side = 8 shocks which means more money spent on parts to fix it up. And I can't see if it would take LiPo batteries, just that it has NiMh battery.
  11. Not sure. I've had a google around, some says it's different, others says it's same thing. 🤷‍♂️
  12. Bump, hoping to buy one this weekend and would be good for any other thoughts?
  13. Looks cool, but... "accurately balance and charge LiPoly, LiFe, LiHV, NiMH, NiCd and Pb batteries. " No LiPo, which you're looking for.
  14. From what I read elsewhere, it's about putting pressure on the police/hospital resources when you go for a drive and gets involved in a serious RTC. And you being taken to a very busy, overfilled hospital of COVID-19 patients. The are trying to reduce this which is why they're issuing out an Stay Home and *only* go out for essential travel. And to stay local for exercises. RC is part of recreation and that's banned during this National Lockdown.
  15. What connector? 30W - includes XT60 charge lead but no LCD display https://www.modelsport.co.uk/skyrc-e430-lipo-charger-ac-3a-30w-2-4s/rc-car-products/418759 60W - includes XT60 to Deans conversion lead - includes LCD display, useful for monitoring status https://www.modelsport.co.uk/overlander-vsr-mini-ac-lipo-balance-charger-60w-6a/rc-car-products/425241 Both can charge 2S to 4S so it meets your needs.
  16. 👍 I like the film too!
  17. Change it back to MSUK-Forum (Default)
  18. Based on the screenshot from @DAL3D he seems to be using 4.2 theme.
  19. I can. Do a hard refresh.
  20. My mistake, thanks for the info. I think it's the ESC, but would rather leave this to someone here who knows more about this setup & confirm or thinks it's something else. I assume all wires are plugged in securely?
