  1. not even a low profile bullet?
  2. Normally u stack em on their sides and loop a connector lead around to the other side. If a 4s can sit flat the height of a 2s on it's side should also fit. ? There are options though.
  3. Clean both surfaces with pure alchol before applying tape
  4. Hi fellas Is this the same bike? https://www.graupner.de/GM-MRX5-Cross-Rider-Motorrad-1-5-Ready-to-Run-RTR/90190.RTR/
  5. Just noticed thes tires or previously ruled them out I can't remember http://cs-shop.de/SST-Carpet-Dragon-24/25mm-pr Any good for OSS Carpet?
  6. tire linky for part numbers http://cs-shop.de/Tires_1#1/o-title_az/h-schumacher-rc-racing/m-tourenwagen edit perhaps rename this thread or move over to the owners thread?
  7. pm'd before reading this sry. Schumacher mini pins are available but talk to Capriboy as they may offer too much grip. Yellow compound either way. The softer (white I think) are only good for 15 mins but awesome. The truggy has a smaller pinny than the buggy. But you'll think differently once on a track, speed is relative to the space u have. Motors are pretty much plug and go but I always take it a little easier for the 1st couple a packs (well I try too only have 1 rtr emb and the slipper was tight. Worth noting is I never have found a suitable tool to reach the slipper so have always had to remove the top deck (6 screws) . Remember this when routing cables! or tell me what tool works
  8. Hmm I've never fitted the m8 rims but I do have m8 alu hubs with no probs. Most run 1:10 touring rims with schuey rally blocks. They are great on carpet. Any higher Traction rolling becomes an issue. You will think they are small hence my truggy size comment to the stock buggy ones. Yes please. to the lid. It is ugly but only for the nephew You want a few full sets of new touring rims in return?
  9. @ The Dark Knight How budget are those mate? hows the quality to say... a more expensive 1?
  10. I was going to say last week the stock buggy rims would be ideal as truggy size for racing . looks good mini 8 wheels I'm guessing?
  11. Nitro? clutchbell--> pads and springs Post a vid, we are all just speculating
  12. yeah not a fan of that orange. Have u seen this http://www.serpent.com/product/400018 ?
  13. Durango are good kits. Not for me but they are good. Sadly in your case though most durango models are being 'liquidated' so don't expect amazing money.
  14. no worries just do it lightly and evenly.
  15. you could put em on when assembling the diff but thats a pita when 'shimming' them. Often they are tight. The outdrives that is. It's not outrageous to lightly file or sand the outdrives where the drive shaft ball sits. It's even considered a break in method. If my calipers confirmed the shims size, that 's what what I'd do. Emry wet/dry 1000 paper may even be enough to help u along
  16. So the outdrives wont slide through the shims?
  17. I was thinking 50-60 for the leccy gear. I'll be running this on a track so will need some reasonably spec'd gear. I'll get a decent racer when my track moves closer to me but for now I'll run this 4-5 times this summer and stick with my 1:10 snakes
  18. Theres a kit version of this isn't there? I'll have that if and when the price is more manageable over the rtr cost Should get a good sense of how far I can push it before waiting on spares that way What do we think the rtr leccy gear would fetch if sold on un used?
  19. I'd go xray over schuey. Schuey parts support is good though Uk based arent they?
  20. yes but there are v1 and v2 tips. v2 are better. I think even the full purple handle tool even have a v1 and v2 option.
  21. This thread has a lot of potential. TY OP . Please do post your after run and on going thoughts. There are many here who are interested in a UK owners perspective. If however u have had enough of this nonsense, I do understand.
  22. V1 or V2 arrowmax Alex?
